I only had a decent sleep yesterday night after 3 weeks of heavy promotions of I'm a loner CNBLUE debut song. Bruce Hyung woke me up saying we have an Ad to shoot. This was the very first commercial CNBLUE was going to be apart of, I felt excited.

We entered the Samsung building and we're told to wait till the concept designer arrives.

I saw a fair well dressed slim girl coming into the passageway. I tilted my head because I was curious as she looked very young to be in her position. Just at that moment our eyes met and I felt something inside me jumped!

Next thing I know we were arguing about the Ad concept. She wanted a cute guy image?? What the he'll?  CNBLUE CUTE?? Was she drunk? I tried explaining to her but she couldn't understand. Her manager had to translate it into English for her to understand. Isn't she korean? What's wrong with this girl?

Jonghyun was laughing on our way back. Hyung she was cute....and the idea seems interesting. Although Jonghyun behaves like a very manly busan guy on TV he is quite the opposite. He can be very childish and funny! 

I gave him a sharp look to which he immediately stopped laughing. Minhyuk and Jung shin too remained silent. We are not going to act cute on a stupid commercial Hyung.......I told Bruce our manager. Yong hwa you won't get an opportunity like this again. Think of it as a sacrifice for the band. You've only started!

The world of kpop isn't a fairytale.

I couldn't sleep that night. The image of the girl who I saw in Samsung kept coming into my mind and I knew this won't be the last time I see her again.

The very next day we were sitting with her and this time agreeing with her on the cute concept. How?? 

She surprised me a lot that morning. She talked to us with the help of her manager about what she understood about CNBLUE. The girl knew music.  She talked about the mood and tonality and also expression.  She then told that is exactly why we should do the cute guy concept for us to get out of being labeled as a cold rock band like the ones in the States. She talked about cultural differences and teenage fantasies and how the Ad will definitely boost our image.

Although I didn't want to agree the girl had a point. I could see the sparkle in her eyes and how passionate she was about her job. We excused to discuss among our self's. 

Jung shin and Minhyuk were already trying to act cute and Jonghyun gave me the look that said she's got a point Hyung. I didn't have an excuse to disagree. And CNBLUE became the new cute guys on the block in pink!!!!!
