Memrise Courses

Self Study: Japanese

Chapter One:     Memrise

The best way I learn vocab is by repeatedly testing myself. Memrise is a great place to do this and also go back on words you haven't learnt in a while by reviewing them. These are the few Memrise courses I like to use for Japanese.

Let's go!

Firstly we have to know how to read the simplest of the Japanese alphabet: Hiragana. The memrise course I use for this can be found here fs

My brother bought me the 'Japanese From Zero' book (so far only the first one), and since I wanted to memorise the vocab we practiced in the book, I searched for a Memrise course that would do so. By doing that I found this course here. I really like using that course on my phone because it has the Japanese already written down and I can practice writing the words by clicking instead of having to install the Japanese keyboard. If you don't understand what I mean try using that course on your PC then try it on your mobile. Then you'll understand.

A few other honourable mentions are: x x x
