"Do you like me?" Taepyeong asked point-blank. Ara had to fight to keep a straight face as the rest of the room snickered, a few choking lightly on their food from the shock of his straightforwardness.
"Hey! Who says it so directly!" She sputtered, not really wanting to deny her feelings.
"I really want to thank you for today but no strings attached please," Taehyun let out a scoff from the far end of the room. "I don't have time for a girlfriend."
Even though it hurt his heart to say it, even though he knew what he truly wanted, Taepyeong couldn't give in. He still had his grandmother to take care of, he had to make sure Taehyun didn't go astray in her impressionable years, that Taeseok and Hanbi grew up healthy and well and on top of all that, to be able to earn all that money to pay for the rent and their food. He really didn't need to waste his time and resources on a girl.
But would Ara be brought down so easily?
Foreword
I HAVE JUST WATCHED TOMORROW BOY AFTER ATTEMPTING TO PUT IT OFF BECAUSE IT'S A CRUCIAL YEAR IN SCHOOL FOR ME BUT NOPE I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE ENDING NOPE. THE MOMENT THOSE LINES WERE SAID THE FANFIC AUTHOR IN ME JUST HAD TO SPIN OUT SOMETHING WHICH HAS LEAD TO THE CREATION OF THIS.
To be very honest, I don't know whether will this be chaptered or a one-shot. And I don't know if it'll even be completed and whether anything will be up. I'm currently running on the spazzy and sappy feelings I got from watchinng it so I can't guarantee if it'll last. I'll do my best to try to continue it. If anything, I'll be back on 29th November when my exams end (:
