As Kim Taeyeon and her brother, Kim Jonghyun, start high school at Hannajesang Arts (madeup), they get terrible grades but go on with hope. Their parents die after meeting with a fatal accident, causing them distress. Jonghyun, being older, takes good care of his sister so they always stay together. Jonghyun has 4 friends, Lee Taemin, Choi Minho, Kim Kibum and Lee Jinki. Jessica Jung, a foreign exchange student, comes and gets along well with Taeyeon, making them friends. Jonghyun takes a liking to Jessica. But Taeyeon knows, that if she gives in and lets them be together, Jonghyun will be to busy managing his 'love life' to play with her, so she starts to be sad. Im Yoona and Kwon Yuri make friends her, along with Choi Sooyoung, Lee Soonkyu, Tiffany Hwang, Seo Joo Hyun, and Kim Hyoyeon. She starts giving in to her brother, and she knows she has her friends. But when Jessica and Jonghyun have an accident just like her parents, she recalls the past and gets in distress again using violence to ignore her friends. After stabbing Sooyoung in the stomach in homeroom, she realized that going mad with violence did not solve anything as Sooyoung went into the Emergency Room, but the important thing is that Jonghyun and Jessica is OK.
