The Troublemakers
Twenty-One :: A JYP Survival ShowKangjoo
"Why don't you start by introducing yourself to the viewers?"
"Annyeong, this is Choi Kangjoo. Pleasure to make your aquaintance."
"You're only 16, correct? I must say you seem more mature than most of the older contestants I've spoken so so far."
"Ah, thank you but all the trainees are working hard and are good people."
"... You definitely seem more mature. Beside the point, how do you feel about being in a survival show?"
"Amazing, sir. The feeling that I'm finally getting somewhere after 10 years... Amazing really."
"Ten years? You've been training since you were... six?"
"Oh, um no, since I was ten. But I've had this dream since I was six."
"Ah, I see. That makes more sense. Now, what do you think will make you stand out?"
"It's my dedication. Most definitely. I have what it takes to work hard and succeed in whatever I do. I pour my all into it and I have faith that others will do the same."
"And where do you think you're lacking?"
"To be honest, I am lacking in everything, even with my singing. Because I believe there's always something left to improve."
"Not a bad motto to have. So do you think you can beat out the other contestants for a spot in the lineup?"
"Beat?"
"Well it is a competition."
"To be honest, I really... don't..."
...
"Would you rather not answer the question?"
"I, uhm, am sure that we will all work hard and put our very best into this show. A lot of the others seem to have a few tricks up their sleeve. So I can't really give my true opinion about this."
"...Alright then. Is there anything else you'd like to say to the viewers before we finish?"
"Once again, I am Choi Kangjoo, aspiring singer and JYP trainee of 16 years. I hope you may show your love and support for me, and for all of us, in the upcoming rounds. Thank you."
Noheul
"Why don't you start by introducing yourself to the viewers?"
"Hello everyone! I'm Noh Eul! Like, Eul is my first name and Noh is my second, but you can just call me both in one rushed word because I think that's easier!"
"I think Eul is easier actually-"
"Ah, really? Should I change it? But I already said Noheul was my stage name ah, what do I do??"
"Just breath kid, it's not a bit deal. Let's get back to the interview, alright?"
"Okay!"
"... Right, quick turn around there. How do you feel about being in a survival show?"
"I'll just have to try my best."
"... I can't tell if you're being positive or cynical about this."
"Oh, positive definitely! I think I'll do well, my best is pretty good!"
"Well what specifically do you think will make you stand out?"
"My smile"
"... I... suppose you'll definitely stand out... Um, moving on, where do you think you're lacking?"
"A girlfriend. Will you help me become perfect?"
"You can talk to the viewers at the end, pleas focus on me for now."
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?"
"Very funny, just answer the next question. Do you think you can beat out the other contestants for a spot in the lineup?"
"Yes."
"And now Is there anything you'd like to say to the viewers?"
"Call up your mothers and watch Twenty-One together. If you don't, you're selfish."
Doc
"Why don't you start by introducing yourself to the viewers?"
"Doc"
...
"My name is Park Jaejin, but I'll be going by the stagename Doc."
"Right then. How do you feel about being in a survival show?"
"I think I'm incredibly lucky to be here."
"ARe you sure?"
...
"Ehm, right, moving on. What do you think will make you stand out?"
"Singing. Isn't that what the show's about?"
"Fair enough. And what do you think you're lacking?"
"Nothing?"
"Nothing at all?"
"Dancing. My dancing is lacking."
"Well it's possible you aren't lacking anywhere, there have been a few other contestants who- right, not important. Do you think you can beat out the other contestants for a spot in the lineup?"
"Sure."
"... Follow up question do you want to be in the final lineup?"
"Of course I do."
"... Okay then, is there anything you'd like to say to the viewers before we finish?"
"Let's have fun together!"
