I also love the scene when yeol was in so much panic because he felt the connection when baek was in trouble. Btw please warn about the violence and the use of the f-slur!!! I was almost triggered when i was at that part. But it's ok i guess huhu
AH ALSO i love the idea of baek's thinking place. It was calming and i loved the idea of yeols soulmate dream being set in baek's thinking place and that hed seen him at his most vulnerable. I felt like that strengthened yeols resolve to really take care ofand love baek right!!!! I also didnt like how baek lied to his mother but i do understand and in the end what matters is that his mother hadnt been angry at him about it and was just so concerned with baekhyun's well being, the way a mother should be. Shes also accepted yeol into the family so easily knowing her son is in love and in good hands. Aaahhh precious

Chapter 1: Aaah this was sweet!!!!!!! :( honestly dont know what i wouldve done or how i wouldve felt if it really did end up that yeol's soulmate wasnt baek. But in the beginning i already did have a strong feeling that it was baek! Who else could it have been, right? I think it was justified een though it caused baekhyun confusion as to why chanyeol hadnt said anything about baek being his soulmate. He was young and hadnt seen his own dream yet, plus i think yeol really had high respect for baekhyun as someone younger than him that he doesnt want to surprise or overwhelm or pressure baekhyun with the whole soulmates thing when he hasnt come of age yet. I feel like after baeks bday tho yeol felt that they were supposed to be together, and his confusion and fear thinking baek had a soulmate that wasnt him was just real too.
I think i have to commend kyungsoos role here the most. Best friend award pls!!!!!! If he hadnt stepped in and told yeol first, im not saying that yeol and baek wouldve been sad forever because ofc since theyre soulmates there has to be a way eventially, but like, if soo hadnt taken that initiative to reveal the truth to chanyeol both him and baek wouldve spent much much longer in unneecessary agony. So we have to acknowledge soo's importance in this fic!!!!! Thank you soo!!!!!
