Ready for it?After a few months of dating, Namjoon thought it would be a good idea if Jin meet his parents. He thought it was weird that he had to set up an appointment with his own father, but he didn't question it to much. Jin held onto the hem of Namjoon's t-shirt. He pulled on the fabric, pulling the younger closer to him. Namjoon looked over at Jin. He could tell that the older was nervous. "It's going to be okay. They'll love you as much as I do." Namjoon pulled Jin closer to him and kissed the top of his head. Jin nodded. He hoped that was the case.

The couple sat down at the table in front of Namjoon's parents. Jin held onto the younger's shirt underneath the table. He didn't like the stares the pair were giving them. He didn't feel safe here. he wanted to run and hide, but he would try to stick this out for Namjoon. "Mom, dad. This is Jin. We're dating." Namjoon's father stayed emotionless just like the younger thought he would, but his mother's face changed with several emotions.
"Oh sweetheart. What about your future? What about getting married? What about having children? Are you sure about this?" Namjoon rolled his eyes. He was prepared for all of these questions.
"Mom, I have a lot of time to think about my future. Besides, have you ever thought of why I haven't been going out on dates with girls? I just don't think I'm into girls. Plus we're young, marriage and kids is far away. And," Namjoon looked over at Jin. The older pulled on Namjoon's shirt nervously. "I'm very sure about this. I'm perfectly happy with Jin." He looked back at his parents. His mother smiled slightly.
"Well he isn't the girl I suspected you to be with. He is a cutie and he'll fit right in with the family." Namjoon's mother looked over at her husband. He was staring hard at Jin. He didn't approve of the boy that Namjoon had brought home.
"Namjoon can we speak in the study." Mr. Kim spoke for the first time since the couple had got to the house. Namjoon sighed, nodding. He leaned over to whisper in Jin's ear.
"I'll be back, but if you think you have to run away my room is upstairs. First door on the left." Jin nodded, letting go of Namjoon's shirt. Jin watched Namjoon stand up and follow his father, leaving him with the younger's mother.
