*SLAM*

Eunjung got out from her thoughts as she saw a pile of case files at her table. She looked up and there was Hyomin, crossing her arms.

"What are you doing here? What's with the files?" Eunjung asked.

"Attorney Jeon and Attorney Lee are having a vacation again. Damn those lovers, leaving Soyeon-unnie and us the dirty work once again." Hyomin answered.

"Well I can't have ALL of these. I'll just take half of these. As for the rest, you can just divide with Soyeon-unnie." Eunjung recommended, choosing randomly from the pile.

"Fine..." Hyomin grumbled.

As Eunjung finished choosing, Hyomin grabbed the rest and went to the waiting room where Soyeon was. Eunjung sighed and went to read some of them. She found the cases too random and a bit simple for her to defend with. But as she got through the last file, it hit her.

Evening came quickly. Eunjung, Hyomin, and Soyeon went to drink. They have the weekends tomorrow so they had time to relieve themselves from the pressures and tensions life has offered to them.

"Ah!" Soyeon screamed out of the blue.

"Yah! What is it, unnie?" Hyomin asked, downing another shot of soju.

"I'm sick of our single lives! When can we ever find the men of our dreams? Think about it. Here we are as attorneys living lonely and single lives. And guess what? We're already in the brink of turning thirty! Take Boram-unnie and Qri-unnie for instance." Soyeon elaborated.

"That's no big deal, unnie. They fell in love with each other," said Hyomin.

"*sigh*...you're right. But think about the both of us? We should find someone soon. For Eunjung here, she already has a love of her life...and it's a SHE."

Eunjung dropped her glass on the floor. Soyeon gulped and Hyomin had to reprimand her unnie for reminding Eunjung of the past.

"Eunjung-ah...I...I'm so sorry..."

Instead of getting furious, Eunjung chuckled. She exhaled sharply and smiled at her two friends.

"It's fine. I'm not going to get angry again...not this time." Eunjung said softly.

Hyomin and Soyeon didn't understand much. Soyeon was relieved but for Hyomin, she knew some things. Eunjung was in deep thought, remembering the love of her life.

"Unnie, Soyeon-unnie here doesn't get that much. I might be offending your heart again but...can you tell about you...and Jiyeon?"

Eunjung nodded. She poured them another shot. They clinked their shot glasses and drank. 

"It was a few years ago. I felt alive when I was with Jiyeon. She was my whole world..."
