After B and J parted their way

Everything changes

B became an workaholic and J became a playboy

But why if their new path cross each other. Will they be able to recognized each other ?

Beforehand

J was B first. Starting working at the age of 13, B believe all she needed to do was to work for her family and herself. She never thought about dating. She thought it was unnecessary for her. She doesn't have the time nor the willing to be in love. But all this view changed when she meet J in the basement of her company. At first, he was shy and didn't look through her eyes but they became closer as B become his and s sunbaemin and she will give them advice from time to time. At that time, they got closer, but both of them like each other as a friend since J has a girlfriend back then and B was not interested to be in a relationship.

The lovely-doppy "some" relationship started when J debuted in Japan (J has broken up with his girlfriend) and how he find out how it has hard of B to be the first idol to be working in another country. In Japan, even if they couldnt see each other, they will send text msg or call each other everyday no matter how late it is. Since they will talk about everything, they will of course talk about girl and boys relationship. For B, she will only talk about how this idol is handsome, how nice he is and everything but for J it was different. J will actually go meet the girl hes talking about. At first, it didnt bother B since they were just friend. But after all along, B didnt feel right when J was actually meeting all the girls he been talking about with her. B knows that J went through a hard time when he broke up with his past girlfriend and thats probably why J doesn't take any relationship serious. At first, it will okay for B to see J flirting with this other girls but when things got further, they both got mad at each other and a big quarrel happened.

J: why do you care that much ?

B: because im ur friend, u cant just sleep with another girl you want J. Your gonna end up hurting yourself

J: how will i hurt myself ? They (the girls) the one in love with me not me..

B: J ur playing with fire now

B: how can you fool people feeling for you...

J: i never said that i love them

B: ur such an ...

And thats was the reason why B had never told J about her feeling...because she knows she cant fall in love with a bad guy like him...

After the fight, they didn't talk to each other for two months and it was the first time they didn't talk to each other that long. It was also the first time that J realized that he needed B. He needed her more than just a friend...he finally realized he hurted her soo badly. He realized that B was already really patient with all his actions. But what he did really push her to her max: J was seeing not only her hoobaes but also her friends. Thats was one of the reason why B left both korea and japan to start off a new path. She left without saying anything...

Before B left korea, the rumors that she was dating another idol from a famous group has been spread. All started when a picture of B and D was spreading in the internet. J wanted to ask B if it was true or not but he was not in the good position to ask her that since they didn't talk for months. J finally realized how B felt every time he told her he was meeting with a girl...he thought he was the most stupid guy in the world...

J has always told B to date since she always say she was lonely. He thought if one day B will be dating, he will be soo happy for his friend but thats actually not true. When J hears about the rumors, his heart hurt, it hurts soo badly that he didn't want to meet up with anyboby. Its then that he realized his feeling for her but its too late...

In the summer of 2008, J went on a variety show in Korea. The MC of the show ask the members of DBSK to text a friend they didn't talk to a while. The content of the text is: what do i mean to you ? At that time, J only thought about 1 person... It was her... She was the one he didn't talk for a while and the one he missed the most. He gather his courage and told the MC he's going contact the Star of Asia. He didn't know if she will answer his text or she changed her numbers. After 5 minutes, J received a reply: You mean a lot to me, but i cant speak now...

In J'heart,he was soo happy that B reply him and said he meant a lot for her but why she cant speak now... Its because shes busy or she cant tell right now if he really meant something to her...

When B saw the msg she didn't know what to reply, all she know is that J is\was an important person in her life..

After the show, J went home and decided to give a call to B. He wanted to talk to her. He dialled her number and suddenly someone pick up the phone

In the first few second, silence were over the lign..
J: Hey
B: hey
J: Are you okay ?
B: Ya...
J: I wanted to call you to thank you for replying my msg..
B: its okay... Its for a show right ?
J: hmm ya... How did you know ?
B: everyone is talking about this on internet, my manager told me...
J: its not just that B... I really wanted to know ur answer , its not just because of the show...
B: if it wasn't the show, will you have texted me ?
J:...
B: its okay J, I understand
J: no you dont...
J: do you know how hard was for me when you left without saying anything ?
B:...
J: i missed you a lot... Really a lot
B:me too... We were best friend a few months ago...its hard to believe everything turn this way...
J:I'm sorry B , I know i was a coward back then and i didn't even apologize to you
B: its okay, its the pass already, i accept your apology
J: can we go back to where we were... ?
B: of course :)

In B'heart, things couldn't turn back easily. J hurt her so much that now she is afraid of falling in love with him again. She decided to return as a best friend but still she kept her distance

In J'mind, he wanted B to return to his side no matter as a friend or even as a special person. For him, what was important was having B next to him. For him, it didn't matter what kind of relationship they have as long as they understand each other...

During the next months, they got closer again and start talking again as the old days. But J realized that B sometimes kept her distance. She was more careful with what she was saying and didn't make relationship joke. In the old time, when people ask their relationship, they will just ignore it and continue what they are doing. But now, its different. Durant Smtown, when some hoobaes ask their relationship, B denied it immediately. J was hurt by her action... he thought maybe he really hurt her too much. Soo much that their is only best friend as an option

After reconciliation with B, J became a more mature man. He wouldn't go out and meet woman but instead he will stay home and cook all day. First of all, he know that B doesn't like it when J go out and meet up with girls. Second of all, B like guys who know how to cook since she cant cook :P

The reason why B never told J to not do that or to not go there was because they weren't in any kind of relationship to be able to interfered with this other person personal life. J never ask B to go out with him et B has never confess her feeling. Both clearly knows there is something more than friendship going in between them but none have made a step forward. For them, they didn't needed to be declare as a couple because they know how it will impact their work. Staying in a ambiguous state was safer for them.

B was also a woman with pride. She wouldn't confess her love first and she didn't like to admit a failure. And that what J like about this woman. She is so stubborn that J cant even do anything about it. With J face, he can attracted plenty of women but theres was always 1 exception and it was B... For J , it was hard to attracted B. Back then, B wouldn't fall for any guy in SM and will only focus on work. While all the trainees were dating in between themselves. B was this only one that didn't wanted that and instead chose to work her off. That the reason why J gradually felt in love with her. She was smart, hardworking, pretty, honnest, and stubborn...she was far from this other girl he will meet in SM or the industry. The other girl will try to appeal in front of him but B will just act as a boy in front of him.

For a whole year,J cook as much as he can so that he can pratique for B birthday. He decided to go to the States and celebrate B birthday with a big buffet made by himself. J knows that B cant cook and she must be missing her hometown food so he prepared a lot in order to impress her.

Everything went well in that year but near the end of the year (near october-november 2009), suddenly every dream collapsed.

J had conflict with the company and prepare a lawsuit with 2 other members against the company. With the lawsuit J knows that his birthday plan for B has to be cancelled..

In order to explain everything to B before she knows it from external source and to wish her happy birthday,he dialled her number...It really break his heart that he has to tell her that on her birthday but he knows if he dont, B will hate him forever.
J:hey
B:hey
J: how are you B ? your voice seem weak...
B: im okay, im just a little tired
J: Are you alone home ?
B: ya
J: but its your birthday today why dont you go out ?
B: im not feelling it...
J: B, sorry, i cant be here with you for your birthday
B: its okay i dont usually celebrate my birthday either..
J: B, check the screen

On the screen, theres was a birthday cake writting: happy birthday to my lovely little giant !
 
B, laughing a little bit: pabo, ur going eat the whole cake by yourself ?
J: No, im gonna send it to the State for you :P
B: it will all melt down !
J: Ani, have you hear of Jaejoong express delivery ?

At this moment, the bells rings, in front of the door, their was a delivery guy holding the same cake that was seen on the screen. After thanking the delivery guy and closing the door ,B got tearful eyes and got back to the phone with J

B: J...you didn't need to do that
J: of course i have too !! If i don't celebrate your birthday with you ,who will ?
B: hahaha, thank you J
J: hey b, happy birthday big giant !
B: thank you J
J: now, make a wish
B: hmm i wish i can go back home soon and see you all.!!
J:...B, your alright ?
J: you normally will wish that your album will sell well...
B: J-ah...
B: im really tired..i dont know if i can hold it onto..

B couldn't finish her phrase and big tears were falling from her face. She try to not cry to hard but she cant. She hide her emotions too long into herself  but she has to relieve it all in front of J

Upon hearing B sobbing, J felt bad. All along, J didn't know B was having a hard time. Everytime they talk, B will always say she fines and J will really believe it. 

It was the first time B has cry in front of him, and it hurt him so much. He doesn't want to see and hear her cry. She actually really weak but she has to act strong in front of others...

J was on the phone with B until 4 am the morning. He let her cry until she fall asleep because he know that B has to relieved her emotions. While B was asleep, J was still awake. He didn't know what to do...he couldn't gather the courage to tell her about the lawsuit after seeing her like that. She literally broke down in front of him. B never will do that to anyone expect someone she really trust. He finally realizes how important he was to B. But it hurt him more now because he has to leave her...

Holding up his tears, J whisper his last msg to the asleep B on the other side of the line:
J: B-ah, do you know how hurt i am to see you cry like that ? My heart is crushing into pieces...there is something i wanna tell you but i cant.... If i do i don't think i can survive it... B-ah, I'm leaving....I'm really sorry....i love you....

The line is over.... Bip... Bip...Bip

In the morning, when B wake up with her swallowed eyes, she realized that the phone is still open but the line is cut. She thought to call J and to thank him ,but when  she dialled the phone, an unfamiliar voice speak up : this number is unavailable...

B POV
Did he change his number all a sudden ?
Ah, maybe he's busy, he will call me when he has the time...

A few months later

The departure of J and 2 members of DBSK shock B. Noyone told her about that, not even her best friend...
