Wooshin P.O.V

I groggily opened my eyes, all of the commotion in the shelter having woken me up.

 Why the is it so noisy early in the morning? I thought angrily.

My eyes darted around the room as my ears picked up some of the conversations the other animals were having.

"Have you heard?" One of them said.

"New arrival tomorrow!" Another said excitedly, Xiao I was assuming. That pup was always so damn loud.

"I heard. They say it's a bunny." Even though I couldn't see, I knew he had a sly smile on his face. 

I snorted. 

A bunny? He/She wouldn't last a week here. 

Crossing my paws, I gingerly placed my head on top of them. I grinned a bit, letting my fangs show. The thought of the new arrival still in my head.

A bunny huh? I repeated.

I let my eyes fall shut, planning to fall back into a deep slumber.

I couldn't wait for tomorrow.
