A fortune in you

Description

Kim Jinah has decided to take care of her college funds herself, no more measly part-time jobs. It's time to start earning money by herself, but who knew spending summer as a fortune teller was the best way? Jinah is normally wrong about a lot of things, but what will happen when a certain CEO name Oh Sehun strides into her stall? And what if her fortune telling is actually true? Follow her on the journey of becoming Oh Sehun's personal fortune teller.

Foreword

When she first hears the banging coming from the door, the first thing she instinctively does is make her escape through the back doors.

Kim Jinah was a fortune teller- well, just for the summer. Just until she had enough money for her tuition, and maybe just until she had enough money to repay the debt her family were in. After searching online as to how to earn lots of money quickly, the first thing that popped up was 'scams'. And that was how Jinah had decided to spend her summer. Although, it was harder than she had thought.

After finally decorating the stall so it actually looked the slight bit more realistic, she had approximately five weeks left to earn the money. However, scamming people came at a price. From the first few days there were already a large amount of customers, but this would mean even more people Jinah had to lie to. But it got easier after a few tries. Most of the time these people were desperate and in need of something to guide them, and easily believed anything to do so. But these types of people were usually the angriest; the next morning Jinah was awoken to loud yells coming from the front door.

"YAH! I WANT A REFUND! I'M BANKRUPT BECAUSE OF YOU!"

That was the first time she made her escape through the back doors, but soon found herself being chased down an abandoned street by the old deranged man she recognised from yesterday afternoon. Jinah used the same hiding spot each time she was chased by a customer; after three buildings she wwould take a sharp left into a dump yard. The customers would never bother to look in a trash place.

She finally enhaled the oxygen once the ahjussi's voice drifted off into the distance; the beating of her heart steadied and she sat there for a few more minutes, taking in the fact of what she had done.

"Stupid man- what idiot actually wastes their money on fortune tellers? Aish- why did you listen to me? It's just a scam, I only wanted your money. Stupid, stupid, stupid."

The banging on the door continued but by now Jinah thought nothing of it and quickly approached the back door, her hand grabbed hold of the handle and she began to twist it open. However, his words stopped her.

"Are you trying to escape?" The banging had stopped and the customer voiced the question through the door, Jinah was close to answering but realised halfway that she was trying to stay hidden. "Ah, so there is somebody inside... So you're just trying to avoid me? I wouldn't try and go through the back doors, my body guards will be waiting for you." At this her body froze and her palms began to drench with sweat, her mind went back in attempt to remember the voice, but she found nothing.

"Are you going to open the door? I'm kind of getting cold waiting outside." Jinah let go of the handle and tip toed towards the front door; instead of opening it, she leant her ear onto the door, in attempt to analyse the stranger's voice. "I'm getting impatient." She jumped slightly at his remark and unfortunately caused a nearby cup to fall off its shelf, she cringed before making her way back to her position. Her ears leant onto the door and she could clearly hear his laughter; the hairs on the back of her neck prickled up, and whether it was in a bad or good way- well, that was yet to be discovered.

"I'll give you five seconds."Jinah's heart leapt and all sorts of ideas skidded through her mind. If this person has body guards then they must be rich and powerful... and rich powerful people usually kill other people in dramas-

The five seconds were over.

Her body was thrown to the floor at the impact of the door being forced open, her eyes shut tighter as each footstep came closer towards her. She finally dared to open her eyes at the sound of silence, only to be met with another curious pair.

"I'm Oh Sehun, remember me?"
