Taeyeon set her phone down on the coffee table and jogged to the door, flinging it open. “Jungsu? What are you doing here?”

“I needed to talk to you about some things.”

“Oh, then come in and we can--”

“No, I’ll be on my way; this is quick.” Jungsu promised.

“Okay?” Taeyeon blinked.

“Taeyeon, what would you do I told you I was in love?”

She foresaw this; her heart sank as an image of Kang Sora flashed into her mind. “I’d have to be happy for you; I think Sora really likes you, too--”

Jungsu shook his head, smiling. “What if I told you that I was in love with a very special girl I’ve known for a while?”

Taeyeon shifted uncomfortably. “Do I know her?”

“I’d say, fairly well, yes.”

“Is she from SM?” Taeyeon tried not to appear disappointed.

Jungsu disregarded her question. “What if I told you I was in love with you?”

Taeyeon took a few moments to process the information in her head. “M-Me?”

“You.”

“I’d have to say,” Taeyeon smiled playfully, “What took you so long?”

“No, the question is, what took you so long?” he chuckled, poking her cheek. “I was quite aware of my feelings for a long, long time. Kyuhyun blabbed to me.”

“That jerk,” Taeyeon pouted.

“Taeyeon-unnie?”

“Is that Seohyun?” Jungsu sighed. “I guess I’ll have to go.”

“Bye, Jungsu!” Taeyeon whispered.

“Sweet dreams! I love you!” he waved.

The words rang in her head like a beautiful melody.

“Taeyeon-unnie, why are you staring outside?” Seohyun seemed bewildered.

“Oh, it’s nothing, Seohyun-ah. It’s nothing.”
