“This is so wrong,” Eunhyuk hissed, unhappy with the current situation.

A feisty brunette hit him on the arm. “Shut up, or we’ll be discovered!”

“Why am I your punching bag, Hyoyeon?”

“Yah, the both of you need to shut up right now!” Jessica hit the pair’s arms simultaneously.

“Look who’s not shutting up,” Heechul rolled his eyes.

“Picking a fight with me, Heechul?”

“Oh, of course not, your Highness.”

“I can hear your sarcasm!”

“And I can hear all of you not shutting up,” Jungsu scolded all of his dongsaengs, sounding harsher than usual.

“This isn’t right though,” Eunhyuk argued.

“As long as we don’t get discovered by the happy couple, we’re fine,” Heechul waved his hand dismissively.

“I doubt Kangin would kiss her on the first date though,” Jessica folded her arms smartly.

“Why not?” Eunhyuk asked.

“No one kisses on the first date!” Hyoyeon told Eunhyuk, exasperated with him.

“Then something’s wrong with Donghae, ‘cause he kissed Jess--”

“Shut up!” Jessica shrieked at Eunhyuk.

“Hey, kids, quiet down!” Heechul glared.

“Who’re you calling a kid?” Jessica demanded.

“Sica, please shut up and stop fighting with him.” Hyoyeon huffed.

“I see them,” Jungsu whispered. “I see them.”

“They won’t kiss,” Jessica predicted immediately, and Hyoyeon nodded.

“He’s Kangin, therefore, he’s unpredictable.” Heechul pointed out, eyes focused on the odd pair standing a few feet away from them.

Kangin appeared to be saying something to Taeyeon, who was laughing. Perhaps a joke? Then he tilted her chin up and Taeyeon stopped smiling.

Jungsu tore his eyes away from the scene.

“Jungsu?”

“Hi, Taeyeon.”

“Sorry for calling really late again; you sound tired, do you want me to call--”

“It’s fine; you should really be sleeping though.”

“I was gonna go to bed in a few minutes, but I needed to call you first.”

“Oh, I see. What happened?”

“I just...”

“Yeah?”

“Kangin kissed me.”

“Oh, did he?” Jungsu asked, feigning surprise.

“Yeah, it was my first kiss.”

Jungsu clenched his fists. “I’m glad you were able to give it to someone special then, Taeyeon.”

“That’s the thing.”

“What’s the thing?”

“When he kissed me, I didn’t feel anything. Aren’t you supposed to feel some kind of sparks fly?”

“I don’t know, Taeyeon.”

“I just feel bad, because I think that maybe--maybe I don’t...”

“Taeyeon?”

“Goodnight, Jungsu, thanks for listening to me again.”

Jungsu stared at his phone, more confused than ever.

He decided to sleep on the issue.
