We got to the airport at 6:00 am, our flight was at 9 so we had about 30 minutes of extra time after check in before boarding the plane. We were walking around the stores in the airport, Joongki had been carrying Lorraine and it looked like Jinki was about to pass out too. They woke up so early and barely got any sleep last night because of excitement. 

"Omma, I'm sleepy." said Jinki. 

I was about to pick him up when Joongki picked him up with his other arm.

"Joongki, you should give Jinki to me, Lorraine's pretty heavy." I told him.

"It's alright. You take the handcarries. I want to do this, it reminds me of how it would've been if I got to carry them when they were babies."

I felt touched by his words and took our handcarries. They were just bags filled with Lorraine's and Jinki's extra clothes and toys for the plane. 

"Calling all passengers for the 9 am flight to Sydney, Australia. The plane is now ready for boarding."

I got our passports ready and started walking with Joongki to our gate.

"Your family is so cute. Enjoy your flight with us!" said the lady at the check in counter.

"Thank you." I replied. I smiled and looked at Joongki who was also smiling but looked away when he realized that I was looking at him.

We got to our seats and the twins, who were still asleep, sat in between Joongki and me. I decided to wake them up since they had to wear their seatbelts for take off.

They woke up and as the plane was taking off, Lorraine started crying and Jinki was just annoyed. Lorraine was probably in pain because of the change in air pressure, her ear probaby popped.

We were finally in the air and once the seatbelt sign went off I immediately sat Lorraine on my lap and she lied down on my arm. I kissed her forehead as she stopped crying.

"Omma, it was really scary. My ears were hurting." she sobbed.

"Shh. It's okay baby, Omma has you. I won't let anything bad happen to you. Go back to sleep baby girl."

She closed her eyes and I looked up to see Joongki with a worried expression on his face. I didn't realize that he switched places with Jinki who was fast asleep on his lap.

"Don't worry Joongki-ssi. She's alright it was just the air pressure." 

"Thanks Hyekyo." he smiled.
