It had been five years since the infection had spread turning the infected into brainless zombies who only had a taste for human flesh.  The whole world falling into complete anarchy can all be blamed on the scientist who had been bitten by patient zero and continued to go home failing to tell anyone about the injury.  Long story short suddenly an uncontrollable amount of people had been infected and everything had changed forever.  At the time Kyungsoo was 17 and was going to be graduating high school in just a few months but obviously things didn’t exactly go to plan. Kyungsoo lived a fairly average life before this all happened and for the first year as infection spread like rapid fire he and his parents travelled down to the south of the country hoping this situation would be better there. One night they had stopped to rest and sleep in a small clearing in the woods figuring it would provide more protection than the open road. Kyungsoo woke up to his mother’s screams only to find a biter sinking its teeth into her neck and another one kneeling by his father’s mutilated body. Kyungsoo was horrified to say the least but knew he couldn’t make any noise or else the biters would be after him so he quickly ran away from the scene trying his hardest to not let the tears in his eyes block his vision. He ran for a while before finally his legs could no longer carry him and he fell to ground and broke down.

                Kyungsoo had never been able be part of a “stable” group of people since then, they all either died or he got separated and was unable to contact them ever again. Throughout the years Kyungsoo picked up a lot and was most defiantly able to take care of himself. He had declared that it would be better for him to be on his own a year or so ago and hadn’t really made much contact with any other people since.  In the beginning  travelling across the country by himself without any real goals was quite pleasant but after a few months things started to get absolutely mundane and boring, well as boring as life can be during a zombie apocalypse.  Kyungsoo had been dying for even the smallest bit human contact considering the last time he saw a living person was two weeks ago and even then he just barely got a glimpse of them. He had been searching for supplies in a house when he noticed movement outside and when he looked out the window all he saw was two bodies running away from the neighborhood. Kyungsoo immediately ran outside and in the direction of the people and had been following that road until now.

Hello! This is my very first time writing a fanfic but please give it a shot, im not the most experienced writer but i will try my best ^^ This story will probably be quite cliche when it comes to the zombies and the world during the zombie apocalypse because it is kind of based off of the walking dead. The plot will be nothing like the walking dead but the world in which the story takes place will be quite similar to it. If there are any mistakes with either spelling or grammar feel free to let me know so I can fix it also if you have any constructive critisism please let me know :)
