Mylene's POV

"This case is now closed!" The judge announced and the crowd burst into cheers and applauses.

I stood up with a victorious smile on my face whil several people congratulated me.

The police took away the man opposite me into a van waiting outside.

Soon he would be put into jail.

He deserved it.

"Choi Mylene! You really are the best detective!" My partner came and gave me a proud slap on the back.

"Thanks, but you did alot to help me too." I turned around to him and smiled.

"Yeah, but you did most of it. So what's our plans now?" He sat down on one of the benches.

"I don't know, I think I wanna go back and just.. relax. You know, like take a small break." I sat down beside him. "Besides, there's been case after case and we both deserve a small vacation."

"So how 'bout Seoul? Let's go back home, huh?" He leaned back and crossed his arms behind his head.

"Sound's good." I let out a yawn. "But for now," I leaned down to his lap,"Lemme sleep..."

"You need it." He patted my head and eased back a bit as he too closed his eyes.

Half An Hour Later

"Mylene? Mylene, wake up. It's time to head home. Mylene??" My partner shook me and I shot up.

"It's time? Good! Now I can go rest.." I yawned as I stood up and stretched a bit.

"Mmhmm~ Now let's leave."

We walked to his car and I got in the backseat and decided to sleep.

Before that, lemme introduce myself.

I'm Choi Mylene.

I'm 18 and so is my partner.

I know, we both are too small to become dectetives, but the police was so flabbergasted by our first case, that they decided to hire us.

So we're like the youngest detectives in the entire being of Korea.

I was born in London, and my partner was a childhood friend.

He was an orphan at the age of 5 and so my parents adopted him since we were really close.

My ambition was to become a detective, and my dreams came true.

Our first case was in Seoul actually, in college times.

There was a murdered girl at our school, and the police was involved.

It was that a teacher had that girl and then killed her, desposed her body, and then attempted to run away before semester finished but we had caught him before.

And since then we're partners in crime.

And that incident was 3 years ago, when we both were 15.

But he's six months older to me.

Oh, excuse me if I haven't metioned his name.

His name is Taemin. Lee Taemin.
