Prologue of accidental beginnings

They met at the center of a storm.

Or maybe it was just in the library and the storm was their own making - rain of term papers, thunder of student loans and whirlwind of parties and all nighters.

They ran into each other – literally – books and papers falling to the ground in a loud clatter, only dwarfed in sound by Jaehwan’s yelp and slight swearing. He crouched down to sort out his papers, ignoring the older -surely he was older than him, because who even wore such shirts anymore - until he picked up a book on cardiology that most definitely wasn’t his.

The other snatched it out of his hand with a stoic raise of a brow and Jaehwan could just smile up at him questioningly, because he had no idea what wrong he’d done to warrant that look.

Then they went on their separate ways and it wasn’t until two days later when Jaehwan was sorting through his notes that he came across a sheaf of papers held together by a folded corner, containing lists of mind numbingly long words written in what at first appeared to be ancient calligraphy but turned out to be only Latin. It took him long to find the name, scribbled in the top corner in a handwriting that seemed to be trying to slant four directions at once, Jung Taekwoon.

That was how it began.

Now, let's kick start this baby~
