Since this is the final revamp, I thought of making this crap
1. Are you working now? If so, are you designing for a living?
Yes! Graduated last August 2018. wot wot. And no, I actually code for a 'living'. Though, I do design User Interfaces for websites and mobile apps when they ask me. My plans for doing freelancing as a side job was put on hold because AFF happened (again) haha. I’m just a year graduate so I’m still pretty new to the industry.
My designs were actually recognized by the top teleradio company in our country, they said they wanted to hire me. Of course, I was flattered and got excited. But (stupid me) I declined the offer bc: first, I don’t want to be underemployed. Second, being a developer pays better hehe.
2. Graphic Insecurities?
I absolutely get insecure as hell with clean posters. So insecure, I could not subscribe to them as much as I wanted to show support, but I leave upvotes. Ya'll don't ever compare my posters to clean posters bc I feel like I'm digging my own grave. That's how bad my insecurity is. But I don’t do anything about it XD, I still do messy posters because I’m such a lazy person to really polish
3. Graphic Pet peeves?
I get really fired up when people compare posters edited in Mac and Windows. It's not the hardware, it's the designer/artist!! Photoshop will still be photoshop in either units (It's not even in the software, I'm still proud with my GIMP and Photoscape edits lmao). I use mac now, and I seriously hate when I get compliments 'because I'm using a mac'. And I also don't like when Windows people hating on Apple. Bru, Apple's hardware really good. Stop the hate. Windows is awesome.
4. What kind of an artist are you?
First of all, I have never considered myself an artist. Designer, acceptable. Because I've met much more passionate people in arts, and I feel like I don't deserve the title. Call me director anytime and I'll regret why I choose Computer Science XD. I’m more of a hobbyist, really. I just do this as a hobby. Since I’m blessed with my mom’s creativity, so I guess I know a thing or two about designing, or at least what looks good and what’s not (I have a bunch of creative cousins on my mom's side. One literally won smthng on his region last month, while me? I'm just--you know--throwing $1000 phones away huhuhu that's why I'm here again--releasing stress). And blessed with my dad’s logical thinking, I’m able to connect things (I have bunch of smartass cousins on my dad's side, while me? I'm just--you know--your forgetful Jae who leaves her phone on taxis) . So what kind of a designer am I? Hmmm probably the lazy one.
5. Inspirations?
All Milky way designers back in 2015! Damn. They were the one who actually brought me to the graphic designing community that I didn’t know existed here. So yeah, there’s this story that was featured and the cover was just too beautiful, too eye-catching to be ignored. So I went in, and Milky way (or was it xxesmeee solo shop) that was credited. And when I entered the shop, my mind was hella blown OMG. I still remember what it felt back then. My eyes sparkling and all, jaw on the floor, oh wow. Before I got into the designing community here, I was only really designing for mysel
