Nine: the truth
What's Rightfully Hers"I can't believe this! I'm so pissed!"
Nari furiously threw her bag at the corner of the room, crossing her hands on her chest with deep anger oozing her aura. Though Sehun was with her, he did not dare to touch her or talk to her. She was angry, and anger can blind someone. He trusts her, but she was extremely angry and he could feel her anergy flailing everywhere.
To be frank he couldn't blame her; if he was in that same position he would be furious too. Imagine you coming home from your school to be faced with a dark witch in your mate's house, claiming that she needs to extract the evil power you possess? Nari doesn't have any evil powers in her and she didn't hire a different black witch to manipulate the boys' head so they would fall for her. The real person they should be looking for is that goddamn Suzy! Where is she by the way? Her presence is nowhere inside the house.
She snapped her head back at her mate, finding him fiddling with his fingers nervously. She softened, knowing that Sehun has absolutely nothing to do with the five downstairs and were only a victim like her, that still didn't cease the fire burning in her heart.
"Where is that girl? They should be out looking for the real culprit instead of staying!" Nari snapped, pointing at the door of Sehun's room with anger. Sehun sighed audibly and marched towards her. He took a hold of her shoulders, shaking her softly to calm down.
"Baby, You have nothing to hide Okay? You just sit there and let that old women prove them wrong." Sehun was right, she wasn't hiding anything. She wasn't even angry about that because she is confident in herself; what really pissed her off was the fact they neglected the feelings they have around her; the undeniable desire and oozing love for her so they can satisfy their ego. First, she was ready to accept them if they decided to remorse and come back for her; but now that they called out that witch, she isn't so sure.
Oh god her wretched smell was sailing.
Nari sighed and pushed Sehun from her. She started massaging her head and nodding softly at the boy. Sehun doesn't need her trouble - and his dumb brothers' - in his life. She feels kind of guilty for having him go through this with her; the least she could do is listening to the witch babbling about how dumb the the boys are.
Softly; the two of them descended the stairs, Nari's forgotten anger flaring again when she saw the boys sitting on the couch patiently, an old woman sitting beside Chanyeol with an ugly smile that showed her rotten; yellowing teeth.
Seeing them sitting there waiting for her agitated again, and she marched towards them, a glower in her eyes directed to their eyes when they simultaneously stared at her.
"Fine, lets play with your way. Don't dare run to me when you find out the truth," Honestly, her sudden aggressiveness shocked Sehun, especially since she indirectly told his brothers she would not accept them after this and that she would reject him. The thought brought a bang of pain in his eyes that were also in his brothers' looks, except they were too stubborn and in denial to embrace that feeling.
Sitting aggressively and with a huff on one of the sofa's, Nari dragged a puppy-looking Sehun to sit beside her, who gave the boys an apologetic looks towards his brothers when they gave her strange stares.
The witch coughed, and all of them lifted their heads to look at her. Her sole presence was illegal in the mythical world, If one of the high leaders discovered they would be called upon treachery for taking in a dark witch; the creatures they were trying to eliminate in all those years. Suho must have payed a big sum of money to call her over for more than ten minutes; usually black witches are fearful creatures, they don't like to blend in with other superior beings. Her sitting here must have cost her a lot of bravery.
"Is this her?" The witch asked, and Nari scoffed loudly before Suho can confirm. Is her what? The fraud? They got to be kidding her.
Suho gave her a dark glower that made her shut up, she might is a hybrid; but Suho is a royal hybrid. He is ten times stronger than her and strong beings are respected automatically, it was in their genes to act like that. Nari finds it really ridiculous because respect is imposed by actions and not age.
"Can you hurry and use your powers please? Prove those knuckleheads they are wrong!" Nari snapped impatiently, and Sehun squeezed his hands from beside her. It didn't work in calming her down as she was seething from disbelief and anger. Not only did they regard her as a lier, but they also wants a proof to that.
"Aight." The old woman spoke, and with a deep intake of breath she started twirling her fingers around her face, creating a small purple orbit. She looked at Nari, and beckoned her to come closer.
Doing so annoyingly to get this over with, she sat beside the woman, giving Chanyeol a hard glare that made him stumble in his feet when he stood to give his place for her. Damn it she scared the wits out of him.
The woman took a grasp of her hands with her own pointy ones. Nari had to grit her teeth in order of not throwing out her lunch when she saw the woman's old, rusty looking nails. They were almost as sharp as a knife, and she hissed when the briefly made contact with her skin.
The woman's eyes glowed golden when her palm made contact with Nari's skin, and she hurriedly beckoned Sehun to come closer to her as well. The boy did what he was asked to do; and the woman arched in surprise when her hands touched Sehun's. Images started flashing in the woman's eyes, and with no time she dropped Sehun's arms and beckoned Suho to come closed. Repeating the same process, the lady saw the same things she saw with Sehun and let go of the both hands she was holding. With almost a breathless sigh, she announced.
"Oh boy there is no mistake this girl is indeed your mate!" Nari let out a loud Ha! Sound with and smirked at Suho. The boy was too surprised as he stared at the dark witch with widen eyes.
"How are you sure?"
"Kid, you shouldn't push it out more. The first mate you found; I saw her in your flashes, in your mind to be specific. I know that kid, her grandmother is a decent black witch, strong enough to mask anyone who desires with a smell of mate. She had done the same trick with Suzy, and then you mistook her for your mate." The old lady explained patiently, and Nari laid in her seat arrogantly, nose in the air in confidence and arms crossed. She was happy that the boys were proven wrong, but she was much more happy that everything is revealed now. The only thing she needs to do is snap Suzy's head from her neck and everything would be over.
She noticed the sudden quietness that spread in the place, and while Sehun sat down beside her softly, the entire boys were confused as hell. They weren't confused about the truth, it has been revealed already. But they were confused on Suzy's motivation. Why would she do that? After everything that happened?
Kyungsoo was probably the most angered one of them; he can't believe he was deceived so easily. He isn't someone to trust easily because of his past; but he had let Suzy inside of his heart. He thought she was his mate; his destiny, the only person that he can truly trust. But he was wrong! She had deceived, just like everyone else she was a betrayer. He glanced at Nari from the side, and she was already staring at him with a blank look, feeling his aura radiating. The look on her face was emotionless, but he could detect the small share of disappointment in them and that was his last straw. He stood up from his place, marching outside the house with golden, furious eyes. The sound of his stomps was so loud, and so hard the whole house shook. No wonder he was the couch's favorite, that small body is definitely stronger than what it looks like.
