Korean 101
Description
Hello~ ohfudge here to inform you a little bit about the Korean language.
Though I won't be able to actually teach you how to read/write/speak the language, I will help you out with 'grammatical' things.
Just the usual things people put in fanfics, you know? (umma, appa, mian, etc.)
Here is my Chapter Listing, so you can jump right to the chapter you'd like to read about:
Chapter List:
A chapter on the concept of "hello".
A chapter on the concept of close family.
A chapter on the interpretations of phrases.
A chapter on the concept of honorifics.
Chapter 5 - Yah! That's right, you heard me!
A chapter on the concept of "yah".
Foreword
Korean 101;
a korean's guide to the korean language.
I started this so that I won't see any more grammatical errors because when you write/spell something incorrectly, I as well as other native Korean speaking users, usually won't understand what you are trying to say.
For example, one thing that confused the peanuts outta me was the phrase:
BWOH?!
At first, I thought it was just a sound effect, such as "Heh" or "HAHA", but I kind of figured that it was supposed to be "Moh?!"
Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it just is a sound effect? Heh. xD
MOH?!
- This is the equivelent of "WHAT?!" in the English language. Normally used in a situation when something unbelievable has happened or you want someone to repeat what they had just said. "What" and "Moh" go hand in hand.
Anyways, I guess you can call this part of a little mini lesson. I'll put more things up and you can comment and request for certain things if you don't understand it.
Uhhh......
Thats all for right now :)
