"I Believe in You"- iKon Hanbin Scenario

Description

He looked to me again, his expression softened as I pressed my hand to his, leaning my head against his shoulder. “And I always will. No matter what happens, I’ll be by your side.”

Foreword

The light of the morning sun peeked through the windows, lighting up the room as I stirred in my sleep, sighing softly before realizing I wasn’t alone. I inhaled deeply, my senses taken over by a familiar musky scent that I had come to love so much as my eyes fluttered open to meet the person lying beside me.

“Are you awake?” a soft voice spoke, before I felt a hand reach out and my hair delicately. I blinked a few times to adjust to the light when I was met by another pair of soft brown eyes staring back at me.

I smiled and nuzzled against his chest, which I suddenly realized, was completely bare once I closed the space between us. “Why don’t you have a shirt?” I mumbled against him as he continued to run his delicate fingers through my long locks, my eyes fluttering back shut. He smirked, leaning down to press his gentle lips to my forehead. “What? You want me to get up and go put one on?” he said, making a small gesture to get up when I nuzzled against him deeper, stopping him from moving. He chuckled softly, watching me as I indulged in his warm embrace. I wrapped one arm loosely on his bare, feeling his muscles tense slightly at my touch. I smirked, finally looking up at him, his face inches from mine. I noticed how quickly his expression changed, he now looked almost nervous as I closed the space between us and pressed my lips to his. The kiss quickly turn heated as I felt his hand cup my face, my chin held between his thumb as he tilted my face, bringing me closer to him. I ran my fingers slowly down his built torso, feeling his muscles tense from under my fingertips as his breath suddenly hitched in his throat. I then pressed my hand flat on his stomach and gently pushed him away, breaking the kiss, leaving Hanbin dazed as he stared at me with a blank expression.

“You’re late…” I said sternly, sitting up abruptly, trying to ignore Hanbins intense stare. He bit his lip, watching me intently, sighing as he ran a hand through his disheveled hair. “I know and I’m sorry…I just got caught up at the studio again”

“What time did you get here?”

“Around three”

“Hanbin!” I exclaimed, looking back towards him, still lying down, his head now propped with his hand. “That’s insane! You can’t keep working yourself like this. Don’t you understand how worried I get when your never home and you refuse to answer my calls?”

“I told you, we all promised to turn in our phones in so we can focus better”

I turned away from him again, folding my arms, refusing to look at him. He noticed my reluctance and sat up, wrapping his arms around me, resting his chin against my shoulder.

“I’m sorry…”

I didn’t budge.

I felt his breath against my ear, “But baby we’re so close! I promise you it will all be worth it in the end. I promise…”

He pressed his soft lips to my neck, on my sensitive skin gently, pulling me closer to him until my back was pressed against his chest. I pursed my lips, tilting my head slightly to allow him more access as he continued to pepper soft kisses along my jaw. I exhaled deeply, turning my head to look at him, our faces so close our noses almost touched. My eyes looked deeply into his, noticing for the first time the amount of stress he must have been carrying, dark circles prominently showing under his sleep deprived eyes. It was hard seeing him like this every day, even though I only saw him in the morning before he left for the studio. I would come home to an empty apartment and would fall asleep every night alone until Hanbin finally came home, quietly slipping into bed while I was asleep where I wouldn’t notice him until morning, only to watch him leave again.

“I just hate seeing you like this” I finally said, breaking the silence that began to fill the room.

“I know”

His eyes rested on mine, giving me a reassuring look before placing a kiss on my cheek, my eyes drifting shut at his soothing touch.

“I want you to know…that I believe in you Hanbin…”

He looked to me again, his expression softened as I pressed my hand to his, leaning my head against his shoulder. “And I always will. No matter what happens, I’ll be by your side.”

We stayed like this for a while, the sounds of our breath being the only noise filling the room. I knew he had to leave eventually, but I pushed the thought away, wanting to melt in his warm embrace as we stayed wrapped in each other’s arms.
