Taemin and Kai grew up together and were inseperable. Kai was the sporty popular hot guy who went on severla dates a week. Whereas, Taemin was the shy wimpy gay kid, who made the mistake of trying to come out to his best friend. Taemin had tried to tell Kai he was gay, so he could also tell him he was in love with him. When he tried though, someone started eavesdropping and heard him come out. The kid ran out and shouted, "I knew it! I knew you were gay!" and then ran off and started telling everyone, turning his life into a living hell. Taemin was afraid then, of all the bullying and of losing his best friend. But Kai stuck by his side and stood up for him.
