It was a normal average day at the cafe jonghyun worked at. Customers zooming in and out. Like normally, it wasn’t too busy in there, but it surely wasn’t quiet. Nobody knew about Jonghyun’s secret, well almost nobody, his best friends, Onew, minho and key, knew about it. Jonghyun was a vampire, and not just some vampire, a vampire prince, Dracula’s son. That’s why it wouldn’t last long with boyfriends, before Jonghyun got thirsty and wanted to their blood, which made them run away. Jonghyun was the most handsome and popular guy in the small cafe. “Jjongie!~ i’m back!~” their most visited customer kind of yelped. It were mostly women who came for jonghyun. “yeah, yeah, i’m coming” jonghyun grunted, he wasn’t in his best mood today. he had spilled coffee all over his shirt and hands, which made his hands burn. he also almost lost an eye because his clumsy colleague couldn’t mop the floor normally. “Jjongie, is there something wrong?” the women asked. “hm? oh, not really, just not having my day today” he said with a frown. The woman almost knew Jonghyun’s name right away, visiting everyday to remember it. Jonghyun didn’t even take a chance to remember the woman’s name, otherwise other girls would get jealous blablabla. jonghyun served the coffee to the girl and went back behind the bar, he wondered, was there ever going to be someone who will except him for who he is? and he doesn’t mean the human him, but both, the vampire him, the black eyed, blood loving version of him as well. That was the only thing he would think about during work, causing him to be distracted or daydreaming. After working he threw off his still wet shirt and just put on a casual jacket he took with him, as he left to go home. Once he was home, he fell down on the couch, resting a bit. All of a sudden his phone rang and he picked up with a sigh. “yes, hello, It’s Jonghyun” Jonghyun said with a tired voice, all he wanted to right now, was sleep. “heyyy Jjong, it’s meee, key, Anyway i was wondering if you wanna hang out tonight, get drunk, yah know?” Key quickly said with an excited voice. “hm, maybe i’ll go, where are we going?” Jonghyun asked, closing his eyes. “oh just that bar near Minho’s house, oh and by the way, Minho’s gonna take a classmate with him, so don’t just turn into a vampire, you freak!!” Key joked, laughing. “i won’t, i won’t. Like i said before, i might come. Well then, i got to go, clean up the house and stuff, bye” Jonghyun said, hanging up before Key could reply. He threw his phone under the charger and he walked upstairs, Jumping on his bed and quickly falling asleep before being able to change into his pyjamas, also forgetting to set an alarm. His eyes shut and he fell asleep at 5 pm, even though he was supposed to meet his friends in 4 hours. He slept for a few hours and woke up at 8:30 pm. He looked at his alarm clock and saw that he only had half an hour left to change and shower and stuff. He jumped up, yelling and ran towards the shower, an hour later he was done with preparing, he grabbed his phone and he realised he was late. “, i’m late, this happens every time! and i promised to be on time!” Jonghyun exclaimed, grabbing all his things, stuffing it in his pockets and ran out. The moment he stepped outside, he got a call from Key. “Ehm hai” Jonghyun softly said. “Where are you?! You promised to be on time and you’re still too late, goddamnit Jonghyun, stop coming late!” Key Yelled through the phone. “okay okay, i understand, there’s no need to yell like that” Jonghyun said. “Are you almost there yet?” Key asked. “yeah yeah, i’m almost there” Jonghyun replied and hung up. He arrived and he saw his friends sitting at a table with another boy with…. pink hair? That must be Minho’s friend he supposed. “Heyy look who’s here!” onew said, pointing at jonghyun, Minho and The guy turned around, smiling. The boy was really handsome and cute. “hii! Nice to meet you, i’m TaeMin! I supposed you must be Jong.. ehm.. Sorry i forgot” TaeMin said with a chuckle. “i’m Jonghyun, but you can call me Whatever you want” Jonghyun said with a smile as he shook TaeMin’s hand. Jonghyun quickly sat down and they all spent their night drinking getting drunk, talking about random stuff such as: Exes, Food, Girls, Boys blablabla. “So guys, minho already knew this, please don’t hate me but i’m… ehm… gay” A sober TaeMin said to the other guys. Onew and Key shrugged. “So are we, the only kind of straight one here is Minho, so” Key said as Onew and Jonghyun nodded. “well, i’m biual” Minho said. “well that makes you 50% straight right?” Onew said with a wink which made everyone laugh. “i must say, *hiccup* TaeMin, you’re quite *hiccup* a handsome guy” Jonghyun said while looking in TaeMin’s eyes and he smiled when he saw TaeMin blush. “Y-You’re also not ugly!” TaeMin replied. “Hey uhm, TaeMin, you were into creepy pasta things, right?” Minho asked, linking eyes with Jonghyun who was shaking his head. “Yeah! totally! I love werewolf's and vampires, they’re so awesome and sometimes they’re really handsome” TaeMin replied, pretty quickly and pretty excited. Jonghyun’s frown disappeared and it got replaced by a smile. “So what would you do if you would meet a vampire in real life?” Jonghyun asked curiously. “I have no clue, i mean everyone knows vampires don’t exist” TaeMin smiled and continued drinking his cola. Key looked at Jonghyun who just sat back and sighed. “What time is it?” TaeMin asked. “it’s 1 am” Minho replied. They were the only two people who were sober. Onew was sleeping under the table and key was dreaming off a bit. “oh i should go” Jonghyun hiccuped again and he stood up. “i’ll see you guys later” Jonghyun stumbled outside, once the door behind him, he stood up normally and he straightened up. He simply was a vampire who couldn’t get drunk, he was fine with alcoholic beverages. He just needed to act drunk so people wouldn’t suspect things. Jonghyun had to leave because he could feel his eyes growing darker and darker every second. at 12, his eyes would turn completely black and he would bite anyone, no matter who he saw. “Wait, hyung!” Someone yelled behind him. Jonghyun stopped in his dead tracks and he turned around, only to meet the young pink-haired boy from earlier. “The guys tried stopping me from going outside, but i ignored them, cause i wouldn’t be alone, Hyung would be here to protect me!” He exclaimed with a happy voice, filled with rainbows. “ehm, TaeMin, you should really go. You’re not safe with me” Jonghyun whispered, he felt that his eyes were almost completely dark. it wasn’t going to take long and he’d be turned into a merciless vampire. “aw c’mon, you’re so cool, nobody would attack you or anything!’ TaeMin smiled and walked towards jonghyun. “TaeMin, please leave.” jonghyun said sternly, scaring TaeMin a little, but not enough to make him leave. “Nah, now come hyung let’s go home” (*cries because of Tokyo Ghoul*) TaeMin smoothly grabbed jonghyun’s hand and started pulling him along. “Wait TaeMin, i’ll bring you home, just like i’ll bring Key and Onew home” Minho yelled from behind them. They both turned around. Minho coughed a softly when he looked at Jonghyun’s eyes. He knew what would happen to TaeMin if he didn’t leave jonghyun alone. TaeMin sighed softly. “Fine, i’ll walk with you another time, okay, hyung?” TaeMin smiled at Jonghyun and walked towards Minho. “Sure” Jonghyun replied. TaeMin put his hands in his pockets and quickly got them out, with a pained look on his face. “Ouch! Paper cut!” TaeMin Yelped, the blood from his finger slowly dripping on the floor. Jonghyun swallowed and his eyes turned completely black. “TaeMin, come here, right now! We’ll treat your finger at home, please just come here!” Minho screeched. “But i’m hurt!!” Taemin said with a pout, “and i’m bleeding”. Jonghyun stared at TaeMin’s wound, before slowly stepping towards TaeMin. TaeMin looked up at Jonghyun and he turned completely white when he saw Jonghyun’s black eyes. “He-He’s a vampire!!” TaeMin yelled. “We know, now quickly get in the car, you idiot!” Minho yelled back. TaeMin quickly turned around and he sprinted towards the car, the fear could be seen in his eyes. Jonghyun turned around and looked at minho with a smile, not just a normal smile. Not just some happy smile, but a smile every murderer would have before killing someone brutally. Minho’s eyes widened and quickly picked up Key and Onew, pushing them in the car and quickly driving off, Leaving Jonghyun’s vampire version alone behind.
