„A wonderful dream of love and peace for everyone…Of living our lives in perfect harmony…A wonderful dream of joy and fun for everyone” the radio blurred through the car before it was forcefully turned off by the gray-haired man on the driver´s seat who was tapping the steering wheel nervously. He through a glance at the time before letting out a groan. He was never gonna make it. He there was at least 15min of way left even if there wouldn´t be any of this horrible traffic and he was supposed to pick up his boyfriend in less than 5 minutes.

The thought of his boyfriend brought a smile onto his face. It was the first time after two long years of his mandatory military service that they would be able to spend Christmas together. He also knew it would be the last time for the next two years as his boyfriend was expected to start his own the following there. Therefore he had planned the perfect date for the two of them, and being late was definitely not part of it.

Giving the steering wheel another frustrated slap he pulled out his phone to send his boyfriend a message before concentrating on the road again.

He arrived half an hour later with his boyfriend already waiting for him on the backside of his apartment. The gray-haired could feel his heard speed up immediately and he wonder how his boyfriend could still be so stunningly beautiful even after all those years. More on instinct than on any rational decision he wrapped his arms around the smaller frame, placing a loving kiss on his younger boyfriend´s brown hair.

»I am sorry I am late Wookie! There was an accident and I had to take a detour but there was so much traffic and I…«

The older´s rambling was interrupted by a small pair of lips on his own and when he opened his eyes again he was meet with the blazing smile of the person he loved the most.

»It´s fine Sunggie hyung. Let´s just get going because it is getting quite cold out here« grabbing his lover´s hand Ryeowook quickly pulled him inside the car. »So where are we going? «

»Not gonna tell you. It´s supposed to be a surprise« the older smiled before he started the car engine, doing his best to ignore his boyfriends whining.

It wasn´t long before they arrived at their destination and big smile spread across the younger´s lips as Yesung kept stationing the car in the carpark.

»You are taking me here? «

»Is it not good enough? Do you want to go somewhere fancier? « a hint of worry accompanied the older´s question as he got out of the car to open the door for his boyfriend.

»Of course not! It´s perfect Hyung! « came the enthusiastic reply and smile formed on Yesung´s face as the younger grabbed his hand immediately, pulling him towards the entrance.

It wasn´t one of the most fancy restaurant in Seoul, quite the opposite to be exact but it was the first restaurant he had ever taken the younger out to eat to all those years ago and he was sure Ryeowook would prefer this place more than any other. Judging by the way his lover was smiling he had been right and that made his own smile grow even bigger.

It had been a while since they had been here but the owner greeted them as affectionate as always before taking them to the table they usually used to occupy. It didn´t take long for them to choose their food as they just ordered the usual. As the owner went off to fulfill their orders they started to a simple conversation with the gray-haired discreetly grabbing the younger´s hand under the table, holding it tight.

They were half way through their meal when the peaceful atmosphere was suddenly interrupted by loud whispers.

»It´s them, isn’t it? «

»They look like it. Do you think it would be them? «

Yesung closed his eyes for a moment hoping they would just leave. It was not that he didn´t like their fans, on the contrary but this was just one of the few moments he wished he wasn´t an idol. He had just wanted to spend a perfect x-mas date with his Wookie but it seemed that luck was on his side today.

»Hey, you two are Yesung and Ryeowook right? « one of the girls asked but before any of them could answer a second one cut in.

»Could we get your autographs please Oppas? «

The older singer was about to throw an angry look towards them but when he saw his lover giving them an affectionate smile he couldn´t help but give a small nod and take the pen the girl was passing him.

When the girls finally went back to their own table their food had already turned cold and neither of them felt that hungry anymore so Yesung quickly paid before they headed towards the car. As soon as they were inside the older reached for his lover´s hand.

»I am sorry Wookie. I didn´t think there would be enough people out today for us to get recognized. I should have planned better « the older´s expression was truly apologetic but Ryeowook just shook it off.

»It´s not your fault. It just comes with our jobs and we chose it ourselves so we have to live with the consequences « Yesung didn´t seem too convinced so in continued »Let´s just go to the next place. I would prefer something quiet though«

Finally a bright smile spread across the older´s face and as always Ryeowook could feel his heart missing a beat at it.

About half an hour later they arrive at a large park on the outer parts of Seoul. It was never really crowed due to its location but now with winter and Christmas being around it seemed totally empty. Taking a thick coat from the car´s trunk Yesung helped his younger lover into it before taking his hand and slowly walking towards the entrance. It wasn´t the most beautiful space with now all the plants sporting dead leaves but it was quiet and they were on their own. Plus the weather forecast had announced the first snow fall for the day. Looking up at the sky the gray-haired let out a silent sight. There was not a single indication of snow and it didn´t seem like it would snow anytime soon. Deciding to still make the best out of it he wrapped his arm around the smaller singer´s shoulders, pulling him into his side before starting a simple conversation about nothing and everything.

They had been strolling through the park for about an hour when suddenly big drops started to fall down heavily onto them causing Yesung to nearly let out a loud curse. Not only that it wasn´t snowing, no, it had to even start raining! It seem like nothing was going as planned.

His inner cursing was interrupted when Ryeowook let out a high pitched scream beside him as a rain drop had landed right into his neck. Reacting immediately Yesung started running towards the car, pulling his lover along, but it was already too late. The rain increased by the second and the moment they arrived at the car they were already drenched to the skin. Pushing the younger into the car the older immediately got in himself turning on the heater as high as possible. Turning towards the person on the passenger seat he couldn´t help but marvel at how cute the smaller looked with his wet hair plastered to his forehead but he pulled himself together as he used his fingers to push a single strand out of the brunette´s eyes.

»I am so sorry about that Wookie. It was said to be snowing not raining. If I´d known I would have…« he was interrupted as Ryeowook pecked him on the lips lightly before shaking his head.

»Just get us home before we get sick and Leeteuk scolds«

When they finally arrived at the older´s apartment Yesung immediately send Ryeowook to take a warm shower before changing into dry clothes himself. He quickly headed towards the kitchen to prepare the hot chocolates he had planned to later that day. It was the last thing on his list and he just hoped that for ones this would work out. So far everything he had planned had ended up in a mess – and it wasn´t the first time. He wondered why Ryeowook would still keep up with it.

Deep in thought he didn´t hear Ryeowook enter the kitchen and stepping behind him. When he suddenly felt small arms encircle his waste he jumped in surprise letting the cup fall down in the process. Now really letting out a loud curse he reached out to pick up the shards only to pull back hissing when one of them cut into his finger.

Immediately Ryeowook grabbed his hand to take a look. Pushing the older out of the kitchen into the living-room he ordered him to sit down on the sofa as he got the first aid kid out of the bathroom. The cut wasn´t very deep but it was bleeding a lot so he resolved into putting some pressure on it before finally putting a band aid. Returning to the kitchen to clean up and finish the hot chocolates he left a still little shocked Yesung on the sofa.

It didn´t take long until Ryeowook emerged from the kitchen with two cups of steaming chocolate in his hand. He looked absolutely stunning in the gray-haired´s eyes. His hair was still unorganized from drying it off after the shower and he was wearing on of Yesung´s lager sweaters over his pants that reach until his mid tights. Still he couldn´t really find pleasure in it. He still couldn´t believe that he even messed up a simple task such as making hot chocolate.

Ryeowook as well seemed to sense that something was off as he sent the cups on the coffee table before sitting right beside his lover, curling into his side.

»Sunggie, what´s wrong? « it wasn´t often that Ryeowook called him without Hyung but it made him smile with happiness all the time even know.

»I am sorry baby, this was supposed to be the best Christmas date ever and I messed up every single part of it. I don´t know how you keep up with me all the time « the older lowered his head apologetic but his chin was grabbed immediately as the younger turned his head towards him so they were looking into each other´s eyes.

»Let´s say I am used to it already « the brunette let out a small giggle before turning serious himself »but you know, that weirdo who you are is exactly who I fell in love with. And even nothing turned out as planned it was still the best date ever. Do you know why? « When the older shook his head slightly he continued, a loving look in his eyes »Because as long as you are with me every date is the best date of my life. As long as you are with me every moment will always be the best moment of my life «

The sudden confession left Yesung speechless for a moment. As often as they told each other he still couldn´t believe that this beautiful creature, inside and out, was his. Clearing his throat the place on of his hands on the younger´s cheek, the other encircling his back.

»I love you so much, Wookie « he whispered against the others soft lips and he could faintly hear Ryeowook say it back before he connected their lips into a slow, loving kiss.
