There's not much to be said about being alone except for the fact that you are alone. It's quite simple really.

Of course, no one's ever truly alone; not unless they live under a rock, but those people deserve to be alone, don't they?

I, Oh Sehun, am starting this journal to aid in my inquiry of my parent's disappearance. It's not on the news or anything; I wouldn't bother checking your television. In fact, no one even knows they're gone.

My parents are methodical people: wake in the morning, sleep at night, and work during the day. It's quite the convenient schedule for people who don't care about anything. I don't care. Neither did they, I suppose. There's not a single excuse to be had about being late for a dinner, not for them. However, this would be more alarming if I had told you they'd been late for five consecutive dinners.

My apologies.

Whatever worries you may be feeling about my well being; put them to rest.

Yes, I am a child.

Yes, I'm quite alone now.

No, I don't need your help. That'd be quite impossible wouldn't it? After all, you'll only be reading this after I've already solved everything. Thank you, anyway, though.

I have prepared a certain list of people for my task force. They're not professional; not in finding things at least, but they have their uses.

1. LH: A mysterious pen pal I've acquired since living at the Exodus Hotel. He only signs his letters with LH and leaves them in our mail slot. All I know about him is what he's told me about himself nothing.

2. Do Kyungsoo: The cook in the hotel. He'll make snacks.

3. Kim Jongin: Kyungsoo's boyfriend friend. He'll convince Kyungsoo to make the snacks.

4. Byun Baekhyun: A rich widower that lives on the top floor. He gave me this typewriter.

5. Park Chanyeol: The Bell Boy. He must get to see who goes to and from the hotel, right?

6. Kim Joonmyeon: The Hotel manager. He knows everyone that has ever step foot in the hotel. Plus, he has all the keys.

7. Wu Yi Fan: A man who checked into the hotel around the time my parents disappeared. No use for him yet, I just want to keep him in my ledger.

Among my task force is a very useful set of tools that I have acquired to help me in my inquiry.

1 dinosaur plush doll. It was given as a gift, but Minseok has taken a liking to it. I've named it Chen.

I don't assume that this investigation will be over quickly, so I've hidden most of the things needed to carry it through in an undisclosed location.

If by any chance I am unable to find my parents, or harm finds me; feel free to pick up where I've left. Although, that would be quite useless, wouldn't it? You'll only know as much as I know.
