Myungsoo can’t remember when was the last time he woke up like this, having that nice good morning feeling. Wanting to wake up immediately just to see the two beautiful people in his life.

“Goodmorning Daddy” Sena greeted, standing at the end of the stairs waiting for Myungsoo to reach her, he walked faster and carried Sena on his arms while she planted a kiss on his cheeks “Breakfast is ready”

“Really?”

Sena nods, “Mommy cooked it!”

The two went to the dining area, Myungsoo carrying Sena on his arms. Soojung is there just like months ago wearing her white apron while putting the freshly cooked sunny side up eggs on the plate, she was so engrossed to her work that she didn’t even notice the two entering the scene

“Mommy” she jumped a little hearing Sena’s small voice, she looked up and her eyes darted to her daughter “Can we eat now?” she asks

“Oh yes of course just give me a minute to put all these foods on the table” she replied and Sena nodded as she went straight to the table and sat at her usual spot “What?” Soojung asks

“I’m planning to take Sena out on a date today” He said in a low voice “Maybe you want to come?”

“Just take Sena I’m meeting Irene today” she answered plainly as she passed by him not even taking a glance

Maybe it's stupid for Myungsoo to think that everything is going back to normal now. But it looks like it's expectation v.s reality, Soojung is still giving him the cold aura and it probably won’t change any time soon.

“Daddy why are you just standing there and spacing out? Let’s eat” Sena said breaking his thought, he looked up and he saw Soojung staring at him plainly. Cold but sad eyes “Mommy am I allowed to play in the playground later? I miss my friends I want to meet them”

“Your daddy will take you out on a date today Sena just do it tomorrow” Soojung said putting a rice and egg on Sena’s plate while Myungsoo took a seat at his spot. Sena’s eyes widened, she loves going out with Myungsoo “Is it true daddy? We’re going on a date?”

He smiled and pinched his cheeks lightly “Yes princess”

“Yehey!” Sena said jumping on her seat and going to Myungsoo to give her a hug and kiss “Can we go to that cotton candy store outside our village I saw it last night. It’s new right”

“Okay whatever you want. You’re the boss today”

“Mommy are you coming with us?”

Soojung gave her a small smile and shook her head “No I need to meet Irene today”

“Can’t you do it tomorrow it’s been awhile since we had our family date”

“I need to meet your Auntie Irene today Sena and besides you need some time alone with your father” Soojung said not even taking a glance to the two people in front of her

“But mommy”

Soojung let out a sigh “I’m going next time Sena okay” she said in a serious tone, she knows Sena won’t stop asking her to come along with them if she won’t say or do that

“You heard that baby. And besides don’t you want a Myungsoo and Sena date?” he said patting his cheeks beaming a smile to his daughter

Sena smiled back “Of course I want to”

“Then let mommy do her job for now while we have our own date okay?”

“Hey what are you doing here?” Irene said when she saw Soojung standing outside her condo, “Is there a problem?”

“Nothing, can I stay here for a bit? Are you going somewhere?” she asked  eyeing Irene from head to toe, she wasn’t wearing her comfortable home clothes. She went to the side signaling Soojung to come inside “Well Hoya is going here”

Soojung formed an ‘O’ shaped in “A date?”

“Just time together yes hangout, the guy is going to Hongkong for a week so he wants to spend time with me before he leave tomorrow”

“Okay looks like I went to you in a wrong time I should leave” Soojung said

Irene frowned in confusion “Is there a problem Soojung you can tell it to me”

“It’s just that I don’t want to stay at the house for awhile Myungsoo and Sena went out and I’m feeling lonely being alone in that big house”

“Where are the maids?”

“Myungsoo kicked them out when we left, but mom is already finding new maids for us” she replied sitting at the couch

While Irene left her for awhile to grab a glass of water “Why didn’t you go with them?”

“It feels awkward” Soojung replied with a sigh

“I thought you’re going to fix the thing between the two of you Soojung”

She buried her face on her palms “It’s hard”

“What is hard?”

“Acting okay even if I’m really not and I really don’t know how to act around Myungsoo when Sena is there” Soojung said and looked up to Irene “I mean the kid is probably expecting that her parents are back to normal now right?”

She nods “Well why don’t you calm down I mean you are seriously stressing yourself over this Soojung”

“I am not”

“You are”

“Irene”

“Soojung I am your bestfriend I know everything about you now” Irene said

Groaning in response, Soojung took the glass of water in table “What should I do?”

“Do you still love Myungsoo?”

“Of course” she replied without second thoughts

“Then like your plan, you’re going to fix this and you’re going to give him a second chance just like what he did to you before when you left him” Irene said earning a scowl from Soojung “Oh that’s a sensitive topic but think of it. He gave you a chance right? So why can’t you do it for him”

“Because of Hani. What if she comes back and ruin it for the second time?”  the worry in her voice is noticeable and Irene felt bad, she doesn’t know how she will manage to cheer up Soojung. The girl’s wall is too strong to break, sometimes

Irene rolls her eyes  “Will you let her?”

“Of course not”
