{SUNGGYU's POV}

"ugh... where am i..?" a voice mumbled behind me

I turned around and looked at the boy, "you've waken up"

myungsoo run his hands to his head and blinked his eyes a several times.

he looked around the room and finally figured out that he's inside the castle "w-what am i doing here?" he asked with confussion in his tone

"feel dizzy?" i bring him a glass of water. he only nodded a little and took the glass from my hand

he gulped the water in one go. he must've been so thirsty.

"how's your stomach?" i sat beside him checking my phone, not looking at him.

"pain a bit.. better i guessed... did you bring me here?" he looked at me confusely

"yes" i stood up looking for activities to do around the room.

"i thought.. you hated me.." his voice lowered. i stopped and look at him. "I do. if it wasn't the princess, i wouldn't have brought you here"

i gave him the stifff and almost emotionless face

"thankyou" he put the empty glass on the table beside him.

"you knew what happened. you knew what will happen if you and the princess fell in love.. you knew it, clearly"

i hated him. he knew exactly what happened.. and he didn't care

"find another girl, just find a girl in heveridth and leave our princess alone, will you? leave the castle at midnight tonight.. the heveridths must be looking for you right now.."

he looked at me a bit terrified. i came closer to him and grabbed his collar a bit mad

"and.. if they found you here, you're going to start another war... don't you ever use your brain?!" i screamed at his face

he opened his mouth slowly "i knew what happened between you and her in the past.. i won't let it happen for the second time.. i promise.. "

her.. a flash of her smile appeared before me. i closed my eyes and turned around

he plead "please.. please let me be beside her.. let me protect her.. i love her." he grabbed onto my hand. i looked back at him.

"i'll do anything to be with her.." he continued

"you can't.." i shook my head

he looked sad

he suddenly remembered something

he searched for his pocket and handed me something. an emerald ornament necklace.

"she wants you to have it.." he smiled

i rubbed against the icy emerald ornament. i almost gave in. the pain of the past hurts too much...

i put the emerald ornament necklace in my pocket and looked back at him, putting on a straight face so that he wont notice my feelings

"you can't stay here---" i shook my head not agreeing.

no myungsoo.. you got a choice..

the door banged open and naeun were breathing heavily. her face looked pale and worn out.

"what happened?" i quickly stands up feeling alarmed. something's not right..

the look on her face were uneasy and puzzled. she trembled with terror.

"princess.. woohyun... they.."

my eyes widened, myungsoo jumped out of the bed waiting for her news

"what happened to princess and woohyun?!" he screamed at her unsecure

"they.. they.." her voice shivered

the atmosphere grew tenser and darker with the night coming

i threw a scarf to myungsoo. he was confused "a heveridth shouldn't be in boclain. make sure no one knows about you"

he wrapped the scarf around his neck

i phoned dongwoo, the royal driver. "dongwoo! get ready outside now!"

i closed the phone and ran for the exit.

myungsoo followed behind fighting against the pain in his stomach.

when we reached the front door, a black mercedes benz rolled infront of us

we hopped in as quick as possible

"main hospital. now!" i screamed as dongwoo accelerated. the city is full of transportation

i frustrated. the road is jammed and it took too long. "aish!!" myungsoo unlocked the door and went out

"yahh! kim myungsoo!" i screamed as i followed him out the car. he didn't looked back and only ran

dongwoo is now alone and confused. oh well..

myungsoo ran passed the cars, dashing through the city. i could feel the fear in his eyes

i followed behind him. he was too fast.. it's like he totally forgotted the pain he felt.

"yahh myungsoo! turn left!" i screamed. he turned back and turned to the left

he didn't know the directions, did he? i tried to catch up with him making sure he wasn't lost

"right!" not being able to catch up with him, i only screamed out the directions.

the night is getting colder and darker. the city lights started to light up

myungsoo stopped infront of the hospital and panted. he kneeled down as the cussed. the pain is tearing him up.

i tried to help him up and walked him inside. i put him on the bench infront of the counter.

the sweat rolls down his face, cold sweat. he's fighting too much, his body isn't fully healed yet.

one of the nurse came running to us "may i help you? he looked badly hurted.." she checked out the wound on myungsoo's stomach

"no.. i want to find lee ____________.. she's with a guy named woohyun.." myungsoo breathe heavily. saying words by words.

the nurse checked with the other nurses whispering. she came back to us with her files

"nam woohyun? and the princess? the car accident today?" she bent down and showed us his record

"yes.. where is he? she must be with him" he begged the nurse and she pointed at the ICU room

we barged in and saw the princess cried next to the sleeping woohyun.

she looked at us. the tears in her eyes were unbearable. she ran to us and hugged us.

"uh.. woohyun.. it's all my fault..!" she cried. her body shivered and cold. her face looked as white as the snow.

myungsoo hugged her tightly in his arm patting her head slowly as she hugged him back

"my fault.. my fault.." she kept repeating. blaming herself.

"shh..  he's going to be allright.. " myungsoo rocked her body a little making her feel better

she looks so vulnerable, so fragile...

{MYUNGSOO's POV}

she ran over us looking all guilty

the tears flooded her eyes.

"my fault.. my fault.." she looked stressed, with her eyes looking lost.

 at times like this, all i can think of is to pull her into my arms. i brushed against her soft brown hair slowly

"shh... he's going to be allright.." i slowly whispered and tightly embraced her.

i looked at her and kissed her forehead gently, "don't blame yourself... "

she gave me a weak smile and looked at woohyun.

there are scars everywhere, his hands were very hurted due to the friction.

he lost his consiousness.

"what actually happened?" sunggyu asked her

"it happened so fast.. he said he wanted to quit as my bodyguard and ran away.. i followed him.. i didn't notice the traffic light and----"

she stopped and cried more, not able to control herself.

sunddenly, the door creaked open. a guy with white coat along with a nurse behind him, supposely the doctor came in

"we need to began the operation, you need to wait outside." his face were calmed

the nurse lead us outside.

i held the princess close to me as she grabbed onto my coat, afraid.

i realized that her arms are also badly hurted. it must be from the frictions of the road.

sunggyu seemed to notice as well. he talked to the nurse

the other nurse approached us and said to take the both of us for medical needs.

we nodded and followed her.

along the way the princess clasped her hands in front of her chest with her palms together. she closed her eyes while murmuring

{Your POV}

after one hour of medical treatment, myungsoo and i walked outside the room.

sunggyu sat on the bench infront of the ICU room. he was asleep

his hands crossed.

we approached him slowly trying to not wake him up. he must've been so tired waiting for the three of us

me and myungsoo sat next to sunggyu and started to feel sleepy. myungsoo laid his head on my shoulder, sleeping

after a few minutes, my eyes were also heavy.

unknowingly, the three of us are already sleeping

after 2 hours, i heard the door creaked open and i opened my eyes slowly.

myungsoo and sunggyu were still sleeping. the doctor and some of his assitant came out

"the operation succeeded.. but he's still in comma so he has to stay at the hospital until he is fully recovered, princess." he whispered to me

i nodded my head "thankyou.." he smiled and bowed. then he left. his assistand behind him bowed down and i also followed.

i sighed relieved. thanks God..

Sunggyu opened his eyes slowly and yawned. "how's the operation? has it ended?" he said in a slow voice since myungsoo's still sleeping

"yes.. it succeeded." i could see his face were calmed down. he sighed and smiled.

"can you bring him back to the castle?" i asked while looking back at myungsoo

"then how about you, princess?" he asked back

"i'm going to stay here to accompany woohyun" i smiled

he looked at myungsoo who's sleeping soundly on my shoulder and sighed. "allright.. are you sure you're going to be allright, princess?"

"i will be just fine" i smiled weakly. sunggyu phoned dongwoo and asked him to carry myungsoo to the car.

dongwoo sighed and piggyback him. i smiled a little "thankyou dongwoo"

dongwoo bowed down and left behind sunggyu.

i went inside woohyun's room and sat beside him. i held his hand and played with his fingers

i hope you're going to be allright, woohyun..

woohyun.. why do you save me? why did you risked youself for me?
