When Woohyun arrived back at his apartment building several hours later, he was surprised to find a figure sitting on the steps outside the entrance.  He quickly approached the figure when he realised who it was.

Sunggyu was seemingly asleep, leaning against the wall with arms wrapped around himself as if to keep himself warm from the cool breeze.  A smile appeared on his lips as he stood and admired the sight before him.  He glanced at his watch.  It was four hours after their arranged meeting time yet the man was still waiting.  It was something he was not expecting.  He could not help but feel guilty for making the older man wait so long.

Seeing Sunggyu's serene sleeping face, Woohyun reached out a hand to gently caress the side of the older man's face.  He was surprised at the touch of Sunggyu's cold cheek.  Inching closer, Woohyun leaned in and gently kissed Sunggyu's lips.

At the touch of soft lips pressed against his own, Sunggyu slowly opened his eyes and found himself staring at Woohyun's face.  He had caught the boy stealing a kiss from him.

"Woohyun, you're back?" Sunggyu asked wearily as he stood up from the steps.  "Did you have fun?"

Woohyun frowned in confusion.  "What do you mean?"

"I saw you take off with the rider on the bike," Sunggyu replied.  "I figured he was your friend taking you out for your birthday.  I thought you had changed your mind about wanting to celebrate it with me.  After all, going out and having a good time with your friends is probably more enjoyable than spending it with a boring old man like me."

"There's no way I'd do that to you," said Woohyun.  "I was summoned."

Sunggyu nodded but did not question further and it did not look like Woohyun wanted him to know.  Whoever it was must have been important.

"What time is it?" Sunggyu asked, changing the subject.

"It's almost midnight," Woohyun replied.  "I don't know whether to be touched by your patience or call you a fool.  If someone was even a minute late to a date, I wouldn't bother waiting, let alone four hours."

"I promised I'd celebrate your birthday with you," said Sunggyu as he glanced at his watch.  "We still have a couple of minutes left before the day is over.  What do you want to do?"

Woohyun smiled mischievously.  "You'll do whatever I want?"

Sunggyu nodded.  "Granted that it's within my capabilities and nothing illegal."

Woohyun smirked.  "Oh, it's definitely within your capabilities," he assured the older man.  "But I don't know about the illegal part."

Before Sunggyu even had a chance to question what the boy meant, Woohyun pulled him in closer by the collar of his shirt and kissed him passionately.  Sunggyu was startled by the boy's actions but he succumbed to the temptation.  With their bodies pressed together, they could feel each other's desire for the other.

From the shadows, the figure let out a sigh when he saw the pair lost in their own world.  Not wanting to watch any further, he pulled on his helmet and walked away.

After what seemed like an eternity, the pair finally pulled apart, gasping for breath with their heavy breathing.

Woohyun smiled with a gleam in his eyes.  "Shall we continue this inside?"

Sunggyu looked at the boy and took the hint, though he was hesitant.  "Woohyun..."

Without waiting for Sunggyu to finish his sentence, Woohyun grabbed his hand and dragged him towards the entrance of the building.

Just as the doors opened for them, Sunggyu let out a cry of pain as he was struck from behind.  He fell forward and collapsed to the ground, unconscious.  Before Woohyun could even react, he felt a blow to the back of his head.  He felt his consciousness slip away as he fell to the ground.  The last thing he saw was Sunggyu laying face down with blood on the back of his head.

And then everything went black.
