The weekend had passed and you still was stuck in the house, after JR helped you with your maths you felt a little bit better about the next test that might come your way.

Everyone was getting ready for the school holiday which meant you would have 2 weeks off school .

While everyone was out , you was relaxing on the sofa listening to music when suddenly Jackson bursts through the door followed by Mark

“omg Jackson you nearly took the door off its hinges “

“huh?” he asks with a cute expression on his face

“never mind “ you say while rolling your eyes

“wait so does that mean that I’m gonna be the third wheel?” Jackson asks Mark, continuing a conversation they must have been having outside

“course not , we can still hang out ..there will just be a third person with us ....sometimes“ Mark says

This caught your attention, you turn down the volume and listen in on your brothers conversation

“I guess I can deal with that….still feels weird though “ Jackson tells his friend

“don’t worry , your still my best friend” Mark says patting jacksons back

*what are they talking about?*

In the end curiosity got the better of you, taking your earphone out you ask

“what are you two babbling on about?

“listening to our conversation huh little sis” Jackson teases

You just roll your eyes again at your brother

“well Markie over here has got himself a girlfriend” Jackson say while putting his hand on marks shoulder smiling brightly, Mark smiles.  

Hearing this news makes you feel horrible inside, you need to make a quick exit before your emotions start showing,

“that’s great “ you smile and head for your room,slamming the door shut.

Downstairs Mark and Jackson jump at the sound of the door slamming.

“Hey~ why you slamming doors luna~” Jackson calls up

You ignore him and text Soo-young

>Mark has a girlfriend

Tapping your fingers on your phone waiting for a reply

>what! are you joking ? do you need me to come over?

>NO IM NOT JOKING!

>ok ok , are you ok?

>No I feel like my whole body has just been trampled on, he’s so happy about it you should of seen the smile on his face when Jackson told me.

>I’m so sorry luna, I’m coming over to get you, be ready x

You didn’t feel like going out but staying in the house with the boys smiling and all happy was making you feel worse, you grab your phone shoving it into your pocket and head downstairs.

“where you going?” Jackson asks

“out” you snap

“o…k was it something I said?” Jackson says after you slam the front door.

“maybe she’s mad about something” Mark says a little confused

Half way down the road you meet up with Soo-young, as soon as she sees you she cuddles you.

“I know I’m stupid for acting like this but……why does it hurt?” you ask almost in tears

“Luna I……..I don’t know, maybe because you like him so much that knowing that someone else has him ……I guess …I don’t know what to say I don’t want to make this harder for you” she tells you with a warm smile

Unable to think of anything to say Soo-young links her arm with yours and walks you towards the park.

A few hours passed and Soo-young had been trying to make you feel better by talking in a silly voice to doing random little dances but nothing she said or done made you feel better.

You decided to go home , you thought that Mark would of gone home by now and that it was safe for you to go back home.

You were wrong, they were in the pool laughing and joking about while splashing each other.

You sigh and walk outside knowing that you have to face them as it’s your turn to do the chores in the garden.

Jackson splashes water at you which makes you turn around and stare at him

“JACKSON you could of soaked my phone” you snap

“jeez calm down it’s just water and your phone is in your pocket……..so grumpy”

“yeah I’m grumpy because not everything is rainbows and unicorns Jackson even though you walk around acting like a little fairy who has fairy dust up your 24/7 someone of us don’t “ you snap and give up on your chores and go inside

“fairy dust up my what?” Jackson says in a cute way

 

“never mind that! she called you a fairy that’s the best thing I’ve heard all day” Mark says while laughing

Jackson splashes more water on Mark and it becomes a water fight.

Evening was approaching and while you were in your room, Jackson and Mark were sitting down watching a movie.

You started getting hungry and decided to go downstairs to get some food *I’ll just ignore them* you think and walk downstairs.

In the kitchen your making food and all you can hear are the boys laughing so loud, it’s annoying you…

Not so much Marks laugh as that was one of the things you loved but Jackson was another story, that high pitched laugh he does was annoying you only because you was annoyed, any other day you would find it hilarious but not today.

*Knock knock*

Jackson gets up and answers the door.

“Hyung hi …is luna home?”

“yeah hold on….LUNA IT’S FOR YOU” Jackson shouts

Ignoring your brother you walk straight past him and out the front door where you greet Taemin

“hey”

“Hey luna, h-have you got a minute?” he stutters

You nod

“So ahhhh ha ha I don’t really know how to start this and I’m kind of nervous …….so ok luna we’ve been friends for well …ages now and since I met you I have liked you, so I’m confessing…..Luna I like you and I want to take you out on a date” Taemin finishes with a shy smile

You are shocked and just standing there, unsure of what to say.

Meanwhile…..

Jackson and Mark were listening and making fun of the two of you.

  

“wait…….omg it’s starting” Jackson says after a few moments

“what? what’s starting?” Mark whispers

“the whole dating thing….nope…noooope” Jackson peeps from behind the door

“ahh Taemin that’s cute and all but my sister won’t be dating…until I say she can”he smiles

“oh Hyung ahhhh I really like her” he says with his head down

Jackson don’t have any problem with Taemin but in his eyes he will not let you date until he thinks it’s ok and he thinks the guy is good enough for you.

“Ah Taemin I…I can’t do this right now, your my best friend and that would be weird” you blurt out without thinking

Taemin looks at you with sadness in his eyes

“oh ok ……I guess that’s ok” is all he can say, he turns and walks away

Once inside Jackson laughs “he confessed and you just shut him down like that….that’s mean luna” he jokes

“leave me alone Jackson”

“Luna are you ok?” Mark asks

“I’m fine” you snap and head back upstairs for the evening.

“I think you should go talk to her, see don’t seem herself” Mark says

“naaaa she’s ok , she gets like that sometimes” Jackson replies

“still….I think she needs her brother” Mark finishes

 Jackson sighs and heads upstairs to confront you.
