The morning started off the same as always , you woke up ,had a wash ,got dressed ,had breakfast and headed out the door to meet your best friend(s) as your parents were at work at the crack of dawn.

You, Soo-young and Taemin were at one of your favourite cafes in the mall.

“why is our Saturday always the same?” Taemin asked

“Because it’s something we have done for years and just kinda stuck to it” Soo-young replied

You was in your own little world and didn’t hear your friends exchange

“Ya Luna ……wake up “ soo-young says giving you a little nudge

“huh…what….?” you say in a daze

“always day dreaming huh “ Taemin smiles

“I’m sorry, I was just thinking about some stuff” you say with a little smile

Taemin and Soo-young are used to you going off into your own little world , when you first moved to the US they were the first people you had met in school and became your best friends almost right away, they were also born in korea but moved to the US when they were much younger then you so they knew how hard it was on you when you moved too.

 

“ok so after here we go to get ice cream then go to the park……..as we do every Saturday” Taemin says with a smirk

“yeah I guess…….or we could do something different” you reply

“like what?” soo-young asks

You all sit there and think

“I guess ice cream and park sound good” Taemin says sounding defeated

You and soo-young smile at your friend who always wants to do crazy stuff and drags you two along with him.

Once you all finish your food you go and get ice cream then head for the park , the park was one of your favourite places to go and just chill out , it was a peaceful place, it wasn’t full of kids running around in fact it was mostly occupied by the other generation , there was a play area for toddlers at the front of the park , there were plenty of benches surrounding the park too but the main attraction was the little waterfull that had grass surrounding it and big rocks that was the place many people went to meditate but occasionally you would see people practicing Martial arts and of course you was one of them people.

 

You was sitting on one of the big rocks along with Taemin while soo-young sat on the grass.

“even though we do this all the time …today feels different do you think?” Taemin asks

“maybe because the sun is beaming down on us “ you say

“it’s so hot today~….we should of gone to your house and chilled out in the pool” soo-young says

“that would have been a good idea if Jackson had of cleaned the pool like he was asked” you reply

Soo-young had a little crush on Jackson so at the mention on his name she smiles and looks away from you, you just shake your head and smile at your friend

Being with your friends was great , you always had fun and it was so easy to forget about any worries you had, they had been there for you when you found it hard to adjust to life in the US .

 

“well I guess I should go…I have chores to do and ill get scolded if I don’t do them “ Taemin tells you both

You both nod and smile then wave as he walks off looking sorry for himself

“maybe we should get going too……or we could stay for a while longer” soo-young offers

“I can’t…I need to tidy my room and then I have to start on my homework that I have been putting off “ you say

You both walk out the park and go separate ways

At home you head straight for the kitchen to get a glass of water, you hear laughing and what sounds like water splashing around outside , you walk outside with your glass of water in your hand and find Jackson and mark in the pool…

They are both shirtless , you aint bothered by seeing your brother shirtless you see that all the time but seeing mark shirtless for the first time took you by surprise, you didn’t know where to look.

“LUNA~” your loud brother calls

“hey” you say with your head down not wanting to meet marks eyes

“I see you cleaned the pool” you say

“of course….I always clean it”

“yeah a week later” you reply sarcastically

Mark jumps out the pool and sits on the side of it

“hey Luna” he says in a sweet voice

“hey mark” you reply not looking at him , he notices you are shy so grabs a towel and wraps it round his body.

“oh yeah, were cooking dinner tonight” your brother tells you

“we?.....you never cook”

“well tonight I am….and…..im gonna need your help” he smiles , you just shake your head and turn your back on them both

“where you going ? come join us “ Jackson says

“I have homework……im sure you do too”

“ha done and dusted” Jackson says in a confident almost cocky way

You roll your eyes at him and walk off towards your room…

In your room you sit at your little desk and sigh at the homework you have waiting for you.

You had been so focused on your work that you didn’t realise the time until Jackson started calling for you

“LUNA~ LUNA……LUNAAAAA” he shouts from the bottom of the stairs

“I can hear you, you don’t have to shout…..your like the loudest person I know” you say standing at the top of the stairs

“well get your down here….time to cook~” he sings the last word

You walk down stairs to see mark chilling out in the kitchen while Jackson is pulling food out from the fridge

“what are you cooking? And im pretty sure you don’t need that” you say while taking a utensil out of jackson’s hand

“im not sure……what do you think we should cook?” he asks while taking the utensil back off you

“how about mom and dad’s favourite “ you reply “and you don’t need that” you say reaching for the utensil in your brothers hand

Jackson moves his hand and now it had become a game to see who can get the utensil , meanwhile mark is sitting there watching you both laughing at how childish you both are.

“some help here” Jackson says to mark

“no way……..you can do it…fighting~” mark says with a cheeky smile on his face

Jackson puts one hand on your head while holding his other hand away from you , it’s no use Jackson is much taller then you and much stronger.

You give up and start preparing dinner .

Jackson is a year older then you and loves to remind you that he is your older brother , he is a year above you in school along with the rest of his friends…

 

Once your parents were home you and Jackson lay the table and set the food down..

“oh this looks great…thank you” your mum smiles , your dad nods in agreement

After dinner you went upstairs and lay on your bed thinking about today …

When you and your family moved to the US Jackson had made friends easy and quicker then you did, so you grew up with all his friends they were just like brothers to you , they would tease you, look out for you and annoy you whenever they got the chance…

You were close to two of jackson’s friends BamBam and JR and of course Mark …

You got on great with all of them but you seemed to talk more with JR and BamBam, Mark was always at your house so it was never a new thing for you to see mark there…but seeing him shirtless was all new to you .

This is the first chapter I hope you like it , sorry if it was a bit short and I guess boring but the fun will start soooooon…
