The sun was out. The heat stings his skin but he didn't even budge. Because for him, he didn't wanna wake up and do his daily routine during summer which is; getting up, eat breakfast, watch tv, eat lunch, surf the net, eat dinner, have a night bath and then sleep. Baekhyun's life is really boring.

 

 

But his cloudnine suddenly disrupted by the loud noise coming from his door.

 

 

*knock knock knock knock*

 

 

He groaned

 

*knock knock*

 

 

He shut his eyes forcefully

 

"Baekhyun! Baaaaaaaekhyun!"

 

 

"Baeeeek! Bek! Baekkie!"

 

"AAAAARGH!" Baek shouted.

 

 

"Open the door you er!" The guy behind the door replied.

 

"GO AWAY KAI! It's too ing early!"

 

"Early? It's one o' clock in the afternoon you lazy !"

 

Ugh! Who even let this guy in?

 

 

He sat up against his willingness and started walking up with heavy footsteps towards the door

 

 

"Thank God! Good morning sunshine! Well apparently it's afternoon." Kai said with the brightest smile plastered on his face, very adjacent to Baekhyun's. And ruffled Baekhyun's hair.

 

 

"Aish! Who let you in? What brings you here? Don't you even know--"

 

 

"Hold up Mister. Your mom let me in and I came here because I wanna see your beautiful face, is all." Then Kai winked and smirked

 

 

Baekhyun doesn't know what to feel. He wanna sigh in disbelief but his heart is beating faster than usual

 

 

"Shut up. I don't need you. Go home. I need to get some sleep." He answered after blushing like a tomato

 

 

"Oh trust me. You need me more than anyone. Hurry up. Go change. Now!"

 

"And why will i do that?" Baekhyun answered while sitting at the edge of his bed preparing to lie down again

 

Kai quickly pulled him up and sat next to Baekhyun and wrapped his arms around him

 

 

"Coz you can't resist me and we're going to a party later at night. But first, we need to go to the mall to buy a present."

 

Baekhyun's eyebrows are drawn together because of confusion. Did he forgot a special day or what?

 

 

"What party? Whose party?" He said

 

 

"You're the dumbest and most forgetful person ever but you the prettiest. It's Sehun's birthday!"

 

 

"What?!" He quickly stoop up and release from Kai's arms and shuffled at the other side of the bed to get his phone and check the date

 

Oh my ing God. How can I--

 

 

"..forget this?" Kai said while laughing in the most irritating way for Baekhyun.

 

 

"You're life is too boring, Baek. You just let your life past by each day by doing nothing but sleep, surf the net, spazz for your kpop group EZO--"

 

 

"It's EXO, E-X-O, you dummy. And FYI, they make me happy so I think I'm not wasting my time for them." Then Baekhyun rolled his eyes

 

 

"Really? Hah! Why not get your happiness from a real person, like me, not by the ones who doesn't even know you exist." 

 

 

"Are we really doing this right now? Get out." Baekhyun said while trying to push Kai out of his room

 

 

"Nope. I'm not gonna go out till you're dressed up."

 

 

Baekhyun stopped from trying to pull Kai up from the bed towards the door

 

 

"So you're gonna watch while I change my clothes?"

 

 

"Uhmm... If you want to.." Kai said while sratching his neck and hiding his blush

 

 

". Get out before I kill you."

 

 

"What are you doing? Don't push me! I need to make sure you're gonna change! Wait Baek! Wait! Hold--"

 

 

Baekhyun didn't even let Kai finish what he's saying. He shut his door with full force

 

 

"Baek! Open up! Baeeeek!"

 

 

"Wait for me at the living room. I'll go get change you dummy!" Baekhyun said with unwillingness

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They arrived at Sehun's place at six o'clock and they're early for the party.

 

They made they're way to the living room where Sehun and some of his friends are sitting comfortably at the couch while munching some chips.

 

"Hey guys! You made it!" Sehun said while standing up quickly to approach his friends

 

"Of course! We can't forget this day, i mean, I can't forget this day." Kai smirked while looking at unamused Baekhyun

 

"Shut up Kai. Happy Birthday Hunnie! I love you!" Baekhyun said while grabbing Sehun on his neck to match their heights to hug him completely

 

"Aaaah! Hyung! I can't breathe!"

 

"Stop that Baek, you're making me jealous." Kai pouted

 

Baekhyun released Sehun from his hug then slapped Kai on his arm.

 

"Shut up. FYI, we're not dating or what."

 

"Not yet but after I've finish my school, prepare your self." Kai said with serious tone

 

Again, for the second time this day, Baekhyun blushed like a cherry tomato

 

"Hyung, youre blushing like a high school girl!" Sehun laughed.

 

"Shh! You talk too much Sehun! And you Kai, do you think I'll wait for you for 7 ing years? Nah bruh, not in my wildest dreams."

 

Sehun laughed even more. Almost crying. While Kai has an expression you can't paint

 

"You're really something hyung! And Kai hyung, why did you even chose to be a Doctor! I know you're smart but why choose that field?"

 

"Y'all know why and I don't see why you're complaining about the fact that i'm going to the med school already."

 

"He's right Sehunnie. We can't change his mind--"

 

"Absolutely. And you can't change the fact that I have feelings for you." Then Kai grabbed Baekhyun on the waist

 

Baekhyun was surprised by what Kai did. So he immediately released himself from Kai's hold and slapped Kai's arms

 

"Aish! The both of you talk to much of nonsense things! I'm hungry, Sehun-nah. Where's the food?"

 

Sehun trying to hold his laughter suddenly stiffened by the seriousness of Baekhyun

 

"This way, Hyung!"

 

Then Baekhyun made his way to the dining area while Sehun slightly punched Kai at the shoulder

 

"Stop fooling around Baek hyung!"

 

"Who said I'm fooling him? I'm stating the truth." Kai said confidently

 

"Whatever you say but if you're planning to let him wait for 7 years, i don't know if that's possible."

 

"I know Baekhyun. We both like each other and he'll not find anyone else. There's not a lot of gays out there who'll hit him, I know that for sure."

 

"So confident, Mister. If I was gay I'd totally hit him. But i'm not so-" Sehun said jokingly

 

"Are you guys gonna stay there or what?" Baekhyun suddenly popped out with a plate of food in his hand

 

"Yeah! Coming!" Sehun and Kai said

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The party started a moment after a lot of Sehun's friends came.

 

Now, Baekhyun is standing at the porch of Sehun's place while holding a glass of juice.

 

Baekhyun can see from his place what's happening in the inside. Kai is playing against someone at the beerpong table, Sehun is busy talking to someone at the phone, some people were doing body shots, some are dancing so close to each other and some are just flirting with someone they only knew at this party. 

 

Baekhyun sighed heavily.

 

He's thinking why is he still single? Yeah, Kai likes him, so he does, but he knows that Kai doesn't wanna be in a relationship not until he graduated college coz he wants to focus on his studies in order for him to achieve his goal in life, to be a sucessful Doctor. And it made him lose hope. Coz Kai is handsome, smart, true gentleman and very lovable, anybody could fall in love with him in the 7 years of his study and he can fall in love too. What bothers him the most is Kai might or would be back on the straight path and leave Baekhyun behind.

 

Baekhyun sighed again at his thoughts and looked down and wish the floor would eat him and be gone forever

 

"Why so gloomy, Baek?"

 

Baekhyun almost jumped at the sudden appearance of Kai

 

"You scared me dummy. Uh nothing. I was thinking of something. Enjoying yourself?"

 

"Yeah. But I missed you so I looked for you."

 

"Stop being cheesy Kai. It'll just make me gonna miss it when you're gone."

 

"Uuh. Now you're the one being cheesy." Then Kai pinched Baek's cheeks

 

"I'll come and visit you in every chance possible. Don't worry."

 

"No. Don't do that. Focus on your studies you dummy! You must achieve you goals!"

 

"I know but--"

 

"No but's, Mister Kim. But seriously, I'm gonna miss you a lot."

 

"I still have two months Baek. Hahaha! Stop pouting. Let's make those two months memorable!"

 

Kai was about to hug Baekhyun but suddenly disrupted by Sehun and a tall guy with perky ears and circular eyes

 

"Sorry to interupt you guys. I just wanna meet you guys my cousin." Sehun said while doing a "ta-dah" hands to emphasize his cousin.

 

Baekhyun suddenly stiffened when he looked at the tall guy. He must admit. The guy is handsome, tall, has fair skin and and--

 

His thoughts suddenly disappeared when Sehun cleared his throat

 

"Uhm, Hi! I'm Baekhyun." He said while reaching out his hands.

 

The tall guy also reached out his hands to hold Baekhyun's

 

"Hi Baekhyun! Nice to meet you. I'm Chanyeol." The guy said with the sweetest smile plastered on his face.
