The bell rang so loud it carried throughout the corridor of Victoria Highschool. For students, the bell rang had two meanings - an ephemeral freedom or a beginning of nightmare. Even though this time, bell rang indicated an ephemeral of freedom, Park Chorong became restless. Usually, she would be calm in no matter situations were and always ready to face any obstacle. Nah, it's not actually obstacle that hard to face off. It just countless questions from her bestie.

"Where are you going, little girl?" speaking of the devil, here we go.

"Irene, it just a plain rumour" Chorong just sighed as she closed the locker. It's no use to evade every single things that obvious. Now, she must face the music, no matter what.

"Being the president-to-be is just plain rumour?" Irene asked her bestie again, smirking. Chorong however walked off to library, her favourite place after lessons time. Irene wasn't give up tho so she catched up her steps instantly. "Man, there's no smoke without fire. I'm not stupid to conclude everything. Why you must deny the beautiful truth?"

Chorong scoffed. "Beautiful truth?"

"Yes. Chorong, everyone was craving for the title, getting expectation, attention and just plain popularity among the students. Wasn't that a beyond dream for every teenager?" talking with Irene, you got no point to argue with. She just got numerous brains for that.

"There's no beautiful truth for being a president of Victoria Highschool, Rene. It just a great nightmare" Chorong rolled her eyes. Irene's speculation was rather an immature girl who craved for everything useless. Chorong glanced her right side, only to see the deserted field.

"So, the rumour is true then" Irene nodded, satisfied with her conclusion.

"Even if it's true, it's's far from my wish. There's a lot of our friends deserve to be. Like Seohyun or Junmyeon" Chorong glanced to her best friend, asking her answer. This time, Irene was the one sighed. Chorong always thought negative side, and she almost hate it.

"Yoona sunbae has her own reason to choose you. I bet for that" Irene smiled encouragingly.

"I hate the words expectation and you know that, right?" Chorong replied with a question. Suddenly, she felt the library was far enough to reach. There's no end talking about the matter. Useless.

"Expectation doesn't mean a burden, Rong" Irene was right, Chorong sighed again.

"Whatever Joohyun. Stop talking about this. I'm tired" Chorong uttered as she pushed the main door of library. The library was deserted as that time wasn't the of every student to 'visit' library. In fact, they just finished their first exam of the year. Chorong felt a bit relief as her minds became broad seeing no student there. More peaceful is better to clear the minds of this petite girl. Meanwhile, Irene smiled in victory despite her friend in a great dilemma.

"You know, although you denied it. Being a president, you couldn't help to be grateful" Something happened lately, which it's so rare definition of Park Chorong. Irene smirked as she raised her brows. She was truly enjoying the moments of teasing Chorong. This president-to-be almost always unpredictable to be read just like that. One had to find the keyword to read Chorong's book.

And the wench didn't oblivious.

"That wasn't a part of that" Irene just laughed as she opened her book. Amusing. Chorong, however couldn't focus on her works as her minds roamed at something else. Irene said was totally undeniable. Yoona sunbae must have something else in her minds to choose her instead of someone else.

"Oh I was so proud of you, nutter!" Irene said suddenly as she made a proud-mother face.

"Irene, it doesn't mean I've got the title already. This is Victoria Highschool" Chorong shook her head, smiling. Irene pouted as she sighed.

"Man, why you must ruin the mood? It's doesn't matter to count the chickens before they're hatched" Irene pouted.

"It's not Victoria High School if they don't do extraordinary. They don't call Victoria for nothing, Rene" Chorong exclaimed again.

"Yeah, right" Irene decided to postpone her works as she got another things to be done. "So, it's true being a president not just plain easy-peasy?" she asked instantly. Irene once heard about that - a president-to-be had missions to pass the title.

Chorong nodded, smiling bitterly. Yoona, the current president had told her everything about that. "I don't see why the rules had existed in the first place"

"Elaborate it..." Irene asked her to continue. The news about missions thingy didn't spread among the students just like that so it's pretty fresh to know.

"Every year, different president has different missions to get the title but the missions still remained secret until be told" Chorong begun as Irene was speechless.

"The nonsense one still do exist but I don't care because that's doesn't matter to me" Chorong nodded as she thought a sec.

"Yeah, the one that avoid any bad rumours and scandals" Irene nodded. Well, even though the rule only suited to politicians but Victoria High School had reputation to be protected and being just president-to-be, it's a big honor indeed.

"And, another one is do not have any puppy love relationship" added Chorong. Park Chorong didn't has any problem with the rules because herself not a type into any relationship while studying. However to others students like Irene, surely those rules were indeed a huge disaster.

"What if you break the rules?" asked Irene out of curiosity. Well, we must expect the unexpected tho. They are in a middle of rage adults and it's an ordinary to have a feeling to opposite gender. One of the adulthood goals is to have a long-lasting relationship. Falling in love is natural.

Chorong sighed. "I didn't get the title of course. However, the most scared is, I'll be expelled just like a dust"

Irene jaws dropped. "Heol, this school is really something"

"I know right. That's why I told you don't act like I was already a president" Chorong uttered as she continued to finish her works. The library was so deserted as Wednesday was an exception to studying. So, there were only Chorong and Irene in the broad library. "I don't have any choice either"

When the current president choose someone as the next president, the president-to-be have to choice - struggle with the rules and tasks or get ashamed due to the consequence. What a nightmare. Some citizens even claimed Victoria High School's department such a cruel to had those nonsense rules. However, being one of the students of the Victoria's, it's more easy to you to get an enrollment to a prestigious university. Thus, no pain no gain.

All Chorong wanted was a peace and memorable senior year with flying colours result in hand. Even though, South Korea takes school very seriously, she didn't feel the pressure much because she just love studying. However, as soon as the news spread (she even the last person to know about the matter), her life changed just perfectly 180°. She started to hate everything - the attention, expectation and others that made her annoyed. Every senior knew who Park Chorong was and every junior knowledged about who the petite girl was.

"Oh My God!" out of sudden, Irene gasped, jolting the lassie from her reverie as she raised her brows in curiosity. Irene, then muttered something that Chorong didn't catch up along with some curses.

"What's the matter, Joohyun?" When Joohyun did some curses, it must be something unfathomable, not something tedious or uneventful like always.

"Dude, this is daebak. Really daebak" Chorong started to get annoying. She hated suspense so much even tho she half-heartedly know it was something ridiculous.

"We got a new drop-dead gorgeous teacher next week" Irene sequeled, fangirling. Gotcha, Chorong knew it. She shouldn't ask in fact. It should be remained secret regarding the school department even though the news seemed small. How could they get the news just like that?

She flipped another page of the book. "Then?"

"Then, he is soon become our homeroom teacher. What a luck!"

Tick, tock, tick, tock,

So um, how was the teaser? Man, I know I'm at this kind of things. But I to publish as I want to know your first impression. So, anyway this story casted 90 & 91 liners with a lot of other supporting characters. Wish me luck !
