▬ hello guys, im sorry if i havent posted the seulgi x jimin oneshot like i promised the last time ;; im still typing it and got writer's block huhu but anyways, i decided to start with the requests! so here's the first request that i finished! hope you all will enjoy it and please do comment cause i love reading comments!! it also encourages me to write more! PS sorry for the lame title but im honestly on making titles forgive me :<<<<

“Yah! It’s Red Velvet! Red Velvet!” Minhyuk nudge the younger who was busy playing a game on his phone.

“Wh- What?” The younger quickly looked up from his phone and stared at the tv in their dressing room.

And there was Red Velvet, being interviewed before they do their live performance. Most of the members glanced up to take a peek of what Minhyuk was saying and went back on doing their own things except for the so called monster (cutie) rapper of their group. He couldn’t take his eyes off the screen and there was this one special girl that his eyes were staring at.

“Hey guys, have you seen my phone?” Wonho suddenly entered the dressing room.

“Yah hyung! Don’t be so noisy!” Jooheon shouted, eyes still not leaving the screen.

“What’s wrong with him?” Wonho asked completely confused but as soon as he saw the younger’s eyes glued to the screen, all he did was chuckle and went towards him.

“Hey Lee Jooheon. You still obsessing over her eh?” Wonho teased. “Saw you watching their v app last night.”

“I wasn’t watching anything.” He defended, eyes finally leaving the screen and stared at the older. Wonho chuckled seeing Jooheon’s cute expression.

“We all know about your secret crush on Seulgi you know.” Minhyuk butted in as he sat down beside Jooheon on the couch.

“I don’t like her.” Jooheon groaned and focused back on the screen but to his dismay Red Velvet’s interview just finished. “Yah hyung, I didn’t get to watch because you were annoying me!”

“Monsta X, please get ready, you’re up next.” A staff said as he knocked on the slightly opened door.

“Neh.” The boys all said unison.

As they were walking out of the dressing room, Minhyuk placed his arm on Jooheon’s shoulder and started. “Yah you should do your best cause Red Velvet is probably going to watch our performance so you better not mess anything up, wouldn’t want Seulgi to laugh at you now would you?”

With Minhyuk saying that, they suddenly bumped into Wendy and Seulgi who were going back to their dressing room. “Annyeonghaseyo.” He and Minhyuk quickly bowed as soon as they saw their sunbaenims. Jooheon couldn’t help but feel ecstatic that Seulgi is now in front of him.

“Oh annyeonghaseyo.” The two girls also greeted.

Minhyuk being the friendly guy he is decided to break the awkward atmosphere. “Red Velvet sunbaenim hwaiting! Dumb Dumb hwaiting!” He also did the dance to Dumb Dumb making the two girls laugh.

“Ah thank you! Monsta X hwaiting!” Wendy said. Seulgi suddenly chanted as she did the dance, “Naegewa sinsokhi vroom vroom.”

Jooheon immediately found it cute and couldn’t help but smile, his eyes disappearing as he did so. Seulgi seeing this embarrassingly laughed as she covered her face.

“Are you going to perform next?” Wendy asked.

“Neh, we’re next.” Minhyuk replied.

“Really? We’ll be watching your performance back in our dressing room then! Good luck!” Seulgi cheered as she and Wendy left.

Reaching the backstage, Jooheon didn’t know why but he felt nervous all of sudden, like how he felt during their debut showcase months ago. He closed his eyes and tried to shrug the feeling off of him. Maybe he was feeling nervous because he knew she was watching and that he didn’t want to disappoint her. His thoughts were suddenly interrupted when the staff by the backstage asked them to go to the stage already. They briskly walked to the stage and got into their positions, each step to Jooheon felt heavy, he was nervous that he might mess up.

“Monsta X!” Irene and Bogum introduced, the stage lights and the song started playing.

“Yah! Yah! Yah! It’s Monsta X now!” Wendy called the girls’ attentions.

“Oh? They’re the guys that we met earlier!” Seulgi said. “I really like their song and how they dance!”

“Stop acting like a bunch of fangirls you two!” Joy exclaimed as she gave a disapproving look when she saw her unnies.

Wendy turned her head and glared at her, “Just because you’re married.”

“Don’t you find one of them cute? I think the Hyungwon guy has some appeals.” Yeri suddenly said.

“Well the guy with red hair that I met earlier was kinda cute! I like how his eyes disappear when he smiles, he looks like a baby!”

“You mean Jooheon? That guy rapping right now?” Yeri asked.

“Yeah him!” Seulgi said and watched carefully. Judging from his actions, he seemed kind of nervous but Seulgi was amused that he could still pull it off and still managed not to get any mistakes on his parts. Seulgi was amazed at how charismatic he looked, he was so differenet when she met him at the hall a while ago, he looked cute and now, he completely looks like a different person. His stage presence is no joke either, he gives off a monster rapper feel which is completely different from his usual self.

“Close your mouth before you drool all over the place.” Irene told Seulgi with a chuckle.

After Red Velvet finished their stage, all artists went back up on stage for the announcement of the winner. The girls were nervous as usual since they were up for the nominees for the first place and of course, they wanted to win. But one person was even more nervous than the girls, he couldn’t keep his cool and he just ended up standing like a statue since a particular girl was just right in front of him.

Changkyun chuckled seeing his friend being so nervous, he never saw him looking like that before. Jooheon hearing this, quickly turned his head, “What?”

“Nothing, nothing.” Changkyun said, still chuckling as he move his head side to side.

The winner was announced and it was Red Velvet, the girls each said their gratitude. The rest of the artists started going down the stage while the others started bowing to Red Velvet. Jooheon bowed at each one of them and lastly, towards Seulgi. He smiled and bowed at her, since she was a sunbae after all, Seulgi also smiled at him and gave a small bow.

Jooheon was just about to walk away when she called his attention, “I saw your stage awhile ago and you looked cool. Good job!” and gave him two thumbs up.

Without him knowing, he flashed a wide smile at her causing his nonvisible eyes to even more disappear. As a fanboy, he couldn’t even be happier hearing those words from her.
