You gave birth with a very healthy fraternal twins.” The doctor said and she cut the umbilical cords and her assistant carry the younger one and wrap with a white cloth while the other assistant carry the older twin and wrap with white cloth too. The mother smile as she pant and tear in joy as she saw her babies made it successfully. The two assistant give the twin to the mother and the mother tear up

“Hello. My beloved angels, I’ll name you Taeyeon.” Her mother said and she observe the cute features of the baby Taeyeon and sleeping soundly.

“Then you are Yoona.” Her mother said and she saw baby Yoona who yawn cutely and she closed her doe-eyes and sleep like her older twin and her mother smile from ear to ear, then she glance to her husband who is tearing up with joy and he slowly approach his family and carefully sit to the edge of the bed.

“Hi my beautiful princesses. Appa is here.” Their father said and their mother give baby Yoona to him and he carefully care his daughter.

2 years later

“Yoona-yah come on. Come here.” Her mother said and she patted her thighs as she bend her knees to the ground and it seems the 2 year old Yoona struggled and her tiny hands where held by her father, while 2 year old Taeyeon is on walker as she was finished to her ‘walking session’ but still she can’t walk and need to have some walker to support her from walking.

2 weeks after

“Tae-Tae.” Taeyeon mumbled and her mother tear up in joy and she cup the face of Taeyeon and the innocent eyes of Taeyeon is staring at her

“Taeyeon-ah can you say that again?” Her mother is tearing up and she smile to Taeyeon and Taeyeon beam her cheeky smile.

“hmm . . .” Taeyeon creased her eyebrows and her mother smile

“Say Tae-Tae.” Her mother said and she caresses the fluffy cheeks of Taeyeon

“Tae-Tae.” Taeyeon obeyed and her mother hug her tightly.

“Very good, Taeyeon-ah. Umma love you so much.” Her mother caringly said and she tenderly hug her daughter

“U-mma.” Taeyeon mumble and her mother release the hug and she smile in joy

“Umma. Tae-Tae.” Taeyeon said and she beam her smile and yes at least her baby Taeyeon can talk now that she thought that she won’t be able to talk and now only Yoona who can’t still talk and she will not give up until Yoona can talk.

Another 2 years

Taeyeon is now walking and somehow she can talk but she is struggling in speaking, while Yoona she can’t talk and she struggled in walking, she can’t even learn potty train. So she needs to still wear diapers. And yeah Yoona still can’t go to school unlike Taeyeon. Their parents decided to bring Yoona and Taeyeon to doctor to check them up.

The 4 years old Taeyeon is wearing an baby blue hoodie and shorts and pair of sneakers, her father is holding her petite hands as they are walking following her mother who is carrying 4 years old Yoona, she is skinny and very light to carry, even though she really eat a lot but she’s not getting fat, while Taeyeon is slightly fluff and her face is so fluffy. Yoona is wearing same as Taeyeon but the difference is the colour, she wear purple ones, who is sleeping while having a pacifier on , yes she can’t sleep without it and she will cry harder and she will not stop crying until she have the pacifier on . They reach their destination

“Doc.” Her mother said and a middle age woman look to the family and she beam her smile

“Hello Mrs. Kim and Mr. Kim.” The doctor said and she approached Taeyeon and Taeyeon hide behind her father peeking to the doctor and she looks like scared and gripping tightly the trousers of her father

“Tae-Tae don’t be scared, the doctor won’t hurt you.” Her father explained

“Oh. Hi there Tae-Tae, your name is so beautiful like you.” The doctor beam her smile and Taeyeon blushed and she lower her head and curling her feet playfully

“Aw. She is so cute Mrs. Kim.” The doctor exclaimed and she look over to the sleeping Yoona and she notice the pacifier in and yeah she is too old for having pacifier in . The doctor reach Yoona and she caresses her hair and tuck the falling strands behind her hair

“What is the name of another beautiful child?” The doctor said

“Her name is Yoona, doc. We are here to have their check-up because they seems having difficulties in learning things that they should learn to their age.” Her mother explained and the doctor nodded and she might have some speculations to that.

“Okay Mr. and Mrs. Kim have a sit first.” The doctor said and the family sit on the couch in front of the Doctor’s table and the doctor get her things to do the diagnosis.

After 3 hours

“Mr. and Mrs. Kim, your daughters are suffering moderate mental retardation.” The doctor said in remorse and she put down her things and she lean on her desk and the mother tear up and she grab the hands of Yoona and Taeyeon and caresses it, while the twins are playing. The father wrap his arms around his wife and caresses her shoulders

“I’m sorry, Mr. and Mrs. Kim, but your daughter especially Yoona, will not be able to attend in regular school. But for Taeyeon can still continue since she has a different case, her mental capacity is more intelligent than the other child who is suffering the same.” The doctor said and only they can do is to cry because their family somehow have the same kind of illness and it is irreversible and all they can do is to watch over Yoona and teach her. Since their family is not that rich, they can’t afford to hire some care takers for them.

9 years later

The adolescence Taeyeon wearing a baggy shorts and minion hoodie with a pair of chucks who is sitting peacefully on her small chair, while doodling using her coloured pencils.

“Tae-tae!” A scream of her younger twin wearing a rilakkuma hoodie and baggy shorts with pair of chucks and she aggressively run towards to her older twin and she pounce to her.

“Y-Yoowngie.” A 13 year old Taeyeon struggled and whined for she can’t resume her scribbles because of hyper twin. Taeyeon is a shy person and somehow she can’t express herself in words properly. Yoona is still hugging tightly her twin sister like she is depending her life to her. This twin are suffering mental retardation, the diagnosis was found when they entered schooling and they can’t cope up with the lessons, Taeyeon was being bullied from her previous school because she struggle in her speech and some motor skills, so their parents decided to home school them.

“l-lewt’s us. . . p. . play Tae-Tae.” Yoona said in struggle in speaking, but she always tried her best to speak up because she is very hyper and aggressive. But Taeyeon shook her head in disagreement and she is removing the arms of Yoona that is tightly secured to her petite body you can’t blame her Taeyeon is very weak physically while Yoona, her strength is no joke and she can break anything with her bare hands.

“pweassee. . . Tae-Tae. . . “ Yoona beg and she is hugging her twin but Taeyeon shook her head again and the tears in eyes of Yoona are soon to fall

“T-Tae-tae . . . . .pweasse. . . . Yoongie w-wants . . . t-to plways . . w-with Tae-Tae.” Yoona said in her hoarse voice and started her tears to fall in her cheeks, she release the hug and cry harder. Yoona is very aggressive and also very emotional, she can’t control it. While Taeyeon, she is not that emotional as Yoona but she is extremely quiet and mostly she didn’t talk, she will show her emotions in actions but not that aggressive as Yoona.

“U-MMA!! . . TAE-TAE . . . D-DON’T W-WANT TO PWLAYS WITH Y-YOONGIE!!” Yoona outburst and Taeyeon panic, well she don’t know to do if she witness like this.

“Oh, Yoongie, don’t cry.” Her mother approach her 13 year old Yoona who is rolling around to the ground and pouncing her arms violently. Her mother stop the whining Yoona and Taeyeon lower her head and she is crying also

“shhh . . . baby. Don’t cry.” Her mother hug Yoona tightly

“U-UMMA!!! TAE-TAE, DOWN’T WAANT TO PWLAYS WITH YOONGIE!!” Yoona is struggling to the hug and her mother look to Taeyeon still lowering her head and fiddling her colour pencils in her hand.
