Killing Butterflies
Description
“Even though we’re all around the same age, each one of us lives a different life. There may be secrets that we aren’t comfortable to share or things that can’t be learn through the eyes but it’s crazy how having this can connect us together – it’s not a good connection but it’s something, right?” She laughs and Himae nods.
Comments: After reading this wonderful story and meeting this girl from school, this idea's been haunting me forever and I decided to honour its presence and make some use of it by turning it into a fanfic! Please pay attention to the warnings :)

“When things break, it’s not the actual breaking that prevents them from getting back together again. It’s because a little piece gets lost - the two remaining ends couldn’t fit together even if they wanted to. The whole shape has changed.”

She’s stuck in this room; she can see it almost as if it were real. It isn’t. The room’s dark with one light bulb too weak to light the vast room, only enough to cast light over her and the mysterious person. She hates that person, she doesn’t know why but her hostility is bubbling, waiting to flood. The person hates her too. She can’t see the person’s face, it doesn’t matter, their words do.
“You’re fat.”
“I know.”
“You’re ugly.”
“I know.”
“You should die.”
“I wish I could.”
They’re horrible words thrown at her, but she accepts them because they’re true. And then the light bulb explodes into flames of light, sparkling down on them. The spark flies past the person’s face and she recognizes the face.
It’s her.
The room isn’t actually a room, it’s her mind.
No matter how much she hates that person – herself – she’s stuck with that person. The cycle of self hate keeps running.
She can’t escape.
