Mijoo let out a happy sigh as she exited a restaurant where she and her friend just had a late lunch.
"Aah so full I think I'm gonna explode.." Mijoo pats her stomach.
"You ate as if you weren't fed for 3 days, that's why." Soojung shakes her head.
Decided to walk around a bit before heading back to their respective home, two of them step into famous shopping area where lots of boutiques and fashion stores lined along the street. With Christmas coming in less than two weeks, most shops are fully decorated in white, red, and green theme. Various ornaments from Santa to Snowman hanging nicely, and Christmas trees are seen standing everywhere around.
Mijoo and Soojung walk slowly while talking about the upcoming Christmas party held by their campus, stop every once in a while to adore cute clothes or jewelleries they can't afford to buy. The younger girl are staring at a shoes she's been wanting since months ago displayed on the shop window, when Soojung catch a glimpse of two familiar figures inside.

"Hey lovebirds!"
Both Jisoo and Jiyeon turn their head at same time to the familiar voice calling them.
"Christmas shopping?" Mijoo and Soojung make their way through racks of various clothes and accessories, heading towards the pair.
"Yeah we're looking for dress to wear to the party."
"What about you two? Going on date too?"
"No!" Both of them answer simultaneously it's hard to tell whose voice is louder, faces blushing shade of red while Jisoo and Jiyeon lift their eyebrows and smirk knowingly.
Soon on the next moment, Jiyeon and Soojung already wander around dress section excitedly, leaving Jisoo and Mijoo waiting for them on the corner.
"Soojung unnie you're not getting any new dress?" Jiyeon asks as she picks a yellow dress and take a good look at its detail.
"Nope, I need to pay monthly rent." Soojung sighs. "Guess I'll just wear the old one from last year."

"So, when will you ask her out?" Jisoo starts, glancing at her best friend who is now choking because of the question.
"Uh.. I still haven't found the right timing." Mijoo scratches her head groggily. "But she agreed to come with me to Christmas party. Maybe... After it ends.."
Jisoo laughs, being friends since their childhood days, never once she ever imagined this day would ever come when a Lee Mijoo, a bold, shameless Lee Mijoo, could be all shy and nervous talking about girl. It's been almost a year since Mijoo told Jisoo that she has fallen for the older girl, way too long of waiting if judging from her past relationships which began as soon as she had laid eyes on a new prey.
'I believe she's gonna be my one and only. I need to make everything right, so let's just take it slowly.' Mijoo always reasoned. And somehow it feels heartwarming for Jisoo to see that the two getting closer little by little. That her best friend finally growing mature.
Their conversation interrupted as Jiyeon comes over, casual tshirt and short pants she wore earlier has been changed into light blue dress and she looks just damn gorgeous.
"What do you think?" She turns around showing off the dress, flashing bright smile at her girlfriend whose heart already skipping beats.
"You look wonderful." Jisoo nods approving Jiyeon's fashion sense.
"But this one is actually a little over my budget.."
"Oh don't worry about it!" The older girl rummages through her bag then hand her a credit card. "Here use this."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah of course."
"Waa thank you so much!"
Mijoo bursts into laughter as soon as Jiyeon scurried back to the dress area and Jisoo whispers "Does this shop not giving extra discount?"
"Good luck on dating the cutest girl in campus! You legit cannot say no to her!"
"Shut up!" Jisoo hits Mijoo's shoulder.
"I'm actually planning to give her Christmas present anyway. She's done lots of nice things to me, especially when I was down. And.. Don't know why, but actually it's always me who feel happier, even more than Jiyeon herself, whenever I can give her something."
"Aaaw look at you, you sweet fox..."
But her mocking giggles silenced right away as they see Soojung comes out from the fitting room wearing white sleeveless dress. It's a knees length dress with simple design, has lace overlaying its bodice, and coral pink satin belt accentuates the waistline. Everything seems to turn into slow motion as the girl Mijoo's been so enamored with untying hair ribbon and let her ponytail down. Long brown locks are now cascading over her shoulder. And Mijoo suddenly feels it's hard to breath.
"Wow! See, it fits you perfectly just as I said before!" They overhear Jiyeon compliments the older girl.

"Wow..." Jisoo mimics her girlfriend reaction. She's about to say something to Mijoo but get baffled instead, finding the poor girl literally staring with eyes wide and mouth slightly gaping.

"Haha but still I won't be able to buy this now."
"It's fine, trying clothes on a shop won't get you jailed!"
Soojung laughs awkwardly, her deep dimples showing.
On the other side, Mijoo grabs Jisoo's arm with death grip as her heart slamming wildly against ribcage.

"Yah! You're going to break my arm!" Jisoo complains between cackling at her friend who is now mumbling incoherently and the only thing she can comprehend is "God help me she is so cute!!"
"Good luck on falling for another cutest girl on campus!"
"Argh I'm going crazy.." Mijoo groans ignoring the comment.

Jiyeon proceeds to cashier to finish payment while Soojung returning the white dress regretfully. Shopkeeper is about to put it back to the rack when Mijoo comes and stops her.
"Wait I'm taking it!"
The older girl throws a confused look at Mijoo. "Why?"
"For you of course, silly.." Mijoo flashes a sheepish grin, fixing her face into a mask of indifferent while actually butterflies fluttering madly inside her stomach. "Just take it as Christmas present."
"But I don't have anything nice to give you in return!" Soojung protests as Mijoo walks towards the cashier and fishes out her wallet.
"Don't think about it! I'm actually planning to give you present. Because.. I, uh.. I actually just won lottery so I have a lot of money!" The one and only lame lie that crosses Mijoo's mind. From the corner of her eye she catches Jisoo once again laughing heartily, whispering something to Jiyeon then both of them grin at her. I'll strangle that fox someday...
"... Seriously?" Suspicions plastered all over Soojung's face.
"Yeah!" Oh who would believe you, Mijoo...
"So you could be really lucky sometimes, eh?"
"Uh huh. I guess so.."
"Mijoo-yah..." Soojung grabs Mijoo's hand softly, and the younger girl turns facing her. And here it is again. That smile, that freaking perfect smile, and Mijoo could never ask for anything more to make her world brighter.
"Thank you."
'I was luckiest when I found you.'

They exit the shop with bags in hands and cheerful smiles, walking towards a new popular patbingsoo shop as Jiyeon suggested to get some ice creams before heading home. Yes, ice cream, just an hour after lunch, because screw calories and diets.
"You two walk like snails! Hurry up!" Their two angels are already some steps ahead Mijoo and Jisoo.
"I guess I understand what you said earlier.." Mijoo mumbles in low volume, lips slowly curled into faint smile.
"Hmm?"
"We feel happier when we can do something for someone we love. More than receiving gifts from them."
"Aww, sweet beagle..." Jisoo immediately darts away dodging Mijoo's elbow that aiming her ribcage.
"Well, I gotta say goodbye to my new shoes though..."
"Just an information, the place I'm working at are currently short on people for part time..."
".... You're truly a life saver! I'm sending my resume tonight!"
