[!READ ME!] This is the alternative ending to the sequel. This was originally my planned ending, so I decided to leave it as an alternative one because I really liked it.

“Can I come in?”

Juri moves aside as Taehyung stumbles in. She notices his eyes are swollen and hazy, but she doesn’t question it. Taehyung has been coming over for the past few weeks without fail, and it’s almost a routine for Juri to let the boy in. And each time he shows up, the bags under his eyes are deeper and his skin paler.

Taehyung slowly makes his way up the stairs and Juri contemplates whether to follow the boy or not. She decides on the latter as she goes back into the kitchen. Her mother is still locked-up in her room and the doctor advised she rests until she can find some strength again.

Almost an hour passes by and Juri is finishing up her porridge when she hears the sound of a cell-phone ringing. She ignores it at first. After a few minutes, it rings again. Juri wonders why Taehyung isn’t picking up his phone. When it rings for the third time, she decides to check on the boy.

Juri opens the door to find Taehyung lying on Jungkook’s bed with the TV still playing in the background. Taehyung is holding onto the Iron Man comic Jungkook didn’t let anyone else touch, not even his own mother.
