Lunch. A time where you can freely talk with your friends. A time where you are able to break free from the chains called 'school'. A brief 60 minutes of safe haven where anything is possible. As you might have guessed already, not for me.

First of all, I have no friends. Jungkook is my friend but again, remember, he has other friends not just me and they are his guy friends (or so I like to call them) and they have way more things in common with him than me. So most of the time he hangs with them. Secondly, even though our school is quite special, we still have our stereotypical cliques contrary to beliefs. We have our cheerleaders, jocks, nerds and emos. I mean even without my 174th place status, I still wouldn't even be able to fit in with them. The emos are too depressing and believe me, with my life I don't need anyone convincing me to jump of the building to get rid of the burden. The nerds are too nerdy. I know I'm smart but all they do is study like I'm sure there's something other thing to life than books, right? Next, the cheerleaders. I only have two words to describe them. y and flirts (terrible ones). That's why I just call them the es. I'm so creative. Moving on, the jocks, I mean what can I say, too rowdy and loud, not my style.

Anyway, with all those cliques surrounding me, I can't help but feel choked by the plain obviousness that I'm a loner. So, I'd rather spend lunch time in the library doing my loner . 

So here's the problem.

Explain to me why I'm in the middle of this sea of bodies.

Rewind 20 minutes.

My dear teacher, the ever so favorite, Mr Kim, announced that the library was closed so I had no where else to go but the canteen. It doesn't help that you were not allowed to go back to classrooms. Because apparently the school wanted us students to have some 'fresh air'. Nonetheless I had to accept my fate so I came to the canteen.

The minute I stepped into the canteen, the aroma of just cooked food wafted into my nostrils and my stomach growled just in time for everyone to hear. The surrounding people whipped their heads around and stared at me strange so I quickly avoided all eye contact and brisk-walked to the queue. Unfortunately, the queue was longer than expected and everyone was whispering about me. It isn't all the time that you get to see 174th place in the canteen queueing for food. Being the awkward piece of I am, I avoided all eye contact and tried to ignore the stares that were boring into my skull. Thanks to my awkward clumsiness, I bumped into the person  right in front of me. And thanks to my incredible luck, its one
