It got to the point that I felt like I was laughing about the ridiculous adventures that my own friends were going through because the way you introduced the characters to us was done so well that I felt like I was practically close friends with Joshua and Vernon. Despite the fact that I don’t even know any of the characters well, it was almost as though you had set a standard somewhere and everything that the characters said or did was so overwhelmingly accurate and natural to the personalities you had given them."

If you're not familiar with Soul Eater lingo, you might have a bad time. (I watched the English dub too, so my lingo might also be different to your lingo depending on if you watched English dub or sub oops). There's also a few D.Gray-Man references sprinkled in, but nothing technical.

If you haven't watched Soul Eater but are reading this anyway, here's some basic stuff:

• "Kishin" is pronounced "Kee-Shin", and is basically a bad person (or in this case, pumpkin) who's consumed too many innocent human souls. 
• Weapons need to obtain 99 Kishin souls and 1 witch soul to become one of Lord Death's weapons. A death scythe. 
• They obtain the souls by (in a scythe's case) eating the soul. A meister is the wielder of the weapon, and must help them to obtain those souls. 
• The weapon and meister must have compatible soul wavelengths, which means their souls need to resonate at a rate that compliments each other. I won't go into too much detail with that though but I think you get the idea.

A lot of things in this story are inaccurate in terms of Soul Eater. I last watched Soul Eater earlier this year (March/April) and I've watched it about 4 times through (haha don't judge me okay it's a good anime) since 2011, so I'm familiar with it, but I'm not going to watch over 50 episodes just to make everything in this fic super accurate - and my memory isn't that great so... I would if I had the time though, but sadly, I do not.
I've also never written an action/fight/battle piece before (nor do I read that sort of thing) so it's going to pretty bad.
