They were hers... unfortunately. And even more unfortunately... she was theirs.

Vivian was the child of the superstitious, overprotective king of Ferris. Ferris was a land of danger, full of witches, vampires, werewolves and the scariest of all, the demons. Although her father was the king he had very little power and he would not be able to stop any creature if they went after his daughter. She was special even if she didn't realize it, and all the creatures of the night wanted her blood for one reason or another.

Which is why Vivian was forbidden to go out at night. After seventeen years she had never seen the moon, had never seen the stars, and on her eighteenth birthday that was all she wanted to do. However she knew better and would not go out. She had restrained herself for seventeen years, any longer wouldn't mean anything at that point. All that restraining of her desires were broken easily when she heard their laughter. Although they didn't mean to, they dragged her out into the night.

And now, it was their duty to keep her safe.
