Bobby was in the busy backstage at Inkigayo. Today was Ikon's debut stage and instead of being in the dressing room with the rest of the boys making last minute preparation before their turn, he was behind the stage, literally. He was nervous but not because of his impending performance. His hands were sweaty and he had been discretely wiping it on the insides of his pockets. He had his cap down low and lowered his head when a staff goes his way. Trying his best to be incognito. No one can know he was there and more importantly, why he was there.

He could see Sungjae and Jackson talking animatedly to each other while waiting for them to record but she was nowhere to be found, she who was the reason why he was sneaking behind the stage and peering through the curtains. Just one look, he said to himself. His head bobbing from side to side hoping to get a sneak peak of her unguarded knowing how he would not be able to look at her as much once they share the stage later. 

One, because he would be too self conscious to do so. Second, was because he would not hear the end of it from the boys afterwards. Jackson turned his way and it took him a split second to hide behind the curtain. ! Did he see him? If he did, It would mean endless teasing from his friend, who he's known before debut during Win era. He mustered the courage to peer again. He breathe a sigh of relief when he saw Jackson back to talking to Sungjae with no indication that he had seen him.

Bobby was busy looking around for her when somebody tapped his shoulder. He clicked his tongue annoyed and shrugged the hand off. Cant that person see he was busy? It's not going to be long now and she will be joining her fellow MCs. He was hoping she could come quickly before BI and the boys realize he was gone. Where are you, Kim Yoo Jung? He was loosing hope when he felt another tap on his shoulder. Irritated that he might go back to the dressing room without so much as a look at her and the interruption of whoever the staff was,he turned around with a scowl. Only for his eyes to widen, his feet wanting to runaway and his heart seeming to want to get the hell out his chest. For Kim Yoo Jung whom he had been sneaking around for was standing in front of him. Looking as cute as he remembered with that cute smile on her face. Ani, she was cuter now than the last time. Yeah. She always looked cuter every time. Yep, definitely cute. 

He was lost for words. She was wearing a snapback like he was. All made up. Her eye smile making a crescent moon on her precious face. She had grown up to be a charming girl and right now, Bobby was definitely charmed especially with that little dimple on her cheek.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

She seemed to be saying something but the room went quite and the backstage seem to be in slow mo, his heart beat deafening him, he was just staring at how pretty her lips were when they were moving and how her eyes were twinkling and how her skin was as smooth as a baby. Bobby swallowed what felt like his heart on his throat. Her little dimple showed as she spoke and he was mesmerized.

Bobby blinked when a hand was waiving in front of him. He didn't realized he spaced out. He turned his eyes away from it as it blocked his view of her when he regained consciousness of the on goings of the back stage and she was looking at him quizzically. Her concern evident. Awwwwww..she was concerned of him?

"Bobby-shi?" 

The sound of his name from her lips sounded so sweet he felt the urge to go awwww out loud. Get a hold of yourself, he scolded inwardly. 

"Are you alright?" She asked.

Of course, I feel great actually. He wanted to say but couldn't find his voice. He tried again but he just felt like he was a fish out of water. His mouth opening but no words were coming out. Damn it! He was a rapper for heaven's sake. Words were his medium! It was his supposed talent. But looking at him now, he was more like a pantomime than a rapper. ! Where did the confident, angsty Bobby go? Where did his swagger gone because he needed to find them quickly as he was turning into a puddle of gaping fool in front of this beautiful girl? It did not help that she was looking glorious even if she had worried written all over her face at the moment and he wasn't helping her feel otherwise.

"Oppa, are you sick?" 

That did it! If he wasn't sick then, he was surely sick now. He felt himself flushed. He wanted to jump around so badly, his air felt constricted in restraining himself so hard. She called him Oppa. He froze where he was, it sounded so delightful he would have asked her to repeat it if he just was nit scared of embarrassing himself further. Speaking of embarrassing, he just realized that his body was leaned away from her when they had a considerable distance from each other. From an onlooker's point of view, he was sure that they looked awkward. He, standing frozen, leaning away from her as if he didn't appreciate her company and she was wearing a worried expression, staring up at him, anyone who looks at them now would think that they are not having a good conversation. Anyone wouldn't have been father from the truth as this was a one way conversation.
