-Adele, When we were young.
She heard him punch the code for the main door, as he entered into their apartment. After the doctor's appointment he had been quiet all day. And as much as she tried not to, she couldn't help but worry about what was going on inside that head of his. Dal Po was really stubborn at times...but then, she couldn't really complain because she was much more stubborn than him. But between both of them, it was always he who won the battles. She didn't really mind, since all their fights were usually about being protective about each other.
He walked in and saw her perched on the kitchen slab staring at him, as he took off his coat and shoes.
"Did you get my chocolates?" she asked
His eyes twinkled, "Yes, Yeobo-ya, I did. And I got fruits and groceries but most importantly, I got chocolates." He stuck his tongue out at her. "Half of them are mine!"
She glared at him as he walked into the spacious open kitchen and placed the grocery bags on the counter, next to her, and started putting the groceries away.
"Which ones did you get? Did you get the nougat ones?" She said, looking into the bag nearest to her.
"You'll have to wait and find out," he muttered.
"Yah! Stop being so mean and give me the chocolates!"
He stopped putting away the groceries and turned to her. She was still shifting through the shopping bag, looking for her chocolates. She didn't notice him come and stand in front of her as he put his arms around her waist.
"When did my wife turn into the chocolate monster!" he said smirking at her eagerness to find chocolate.
"Yah! Stop being so mean..chincha," she said pouting. She extended out her palm to him, making him laugh.
"Aigoo," he said pulling her cheeks, and leaning down to kiss her forehead.
"Here." He said handing out a stash of nougat covered chocolate bars that she was so fond of, immediately lighting up her face like a three year old on Christmas eve!
As she proceeded to unwrap her candy bar, she looked up at him, only to notice that he was staring at her with an odd look.
"What?" she asked. "Want some?" she said handing out her half eaten chocolate.
He shook his head.
"What is it? Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Ani. I was just thinking about how much I love you," he said softly.
She blushed as she looked at him and thought about the first time she had nagged him to get her chocolates.
They had been about 14.
And he had been her knight in chocolate armour.
"Remember the first time when I terrorised you into getting me chocolates?"she asked.
"How can I ever forget? I think it took a month for my ears to stop being red." He teased.
"Yah!"
He pulled her into a hug.
"I would always be your chocolate saviour."
She smiled into his shoulder.

March 2001
She was lying on her stomach because it hurt like hell. Omma had explained to her that something like this would happen, and that she would need to be careful for when it does. She had even taught her how to use that wierd bandage thingy. What Omma had forgotten to tell her was how much it would hurt.
In Ha groaned as she tried to turn on her bed. It was Saturday so at least, she didn't
