Have you ever met anyone who give you the feeling of a warm summer? Well, I've met one. He makes me think of the golden sun ray in a summer morning. I used to hate summer. It is all sweaty and such, but I feel different with this summer guy. 

We first met when it was raining. I was standing in front of a closed shop, which had a roof enough for me to avoid getting wet. It was boring, and then this guy showed up. He ran towards where I was standing, to be under the small roof with me. He was laughing. Why? What was so funny, I wondered. 

"Do you like rain?" He asked me, still had his silly smile on his wet face. 

"Only when I'm home." I answered without too much thought. I usually like rain. I like the sound and the smell of it. But not then, not when I'm outside and half wet. 

The guy laughed. I wasn't telling a joke, you idiot. 

"I like rain. Doesn't it make you feel fresh?" He smiled brightly again, too bright... 

I just shrugged and hoped he would stop talking. But he didn't. He kept on talking about how the rain made him feel. I couldn't remember much because it was annoying. 

"I like spring too." He added. 

"Uh-huh." 

"You like spring?"

"Not really. Flowers make me sneeze." 

"What a shame... "

"For what?" 

"For not being able to see how pretty they are, because you keep sneezing." He laughed. He probably made a joke but I was not amused, so I just gave him a quick smile. 

And then he continued to speak about how he like spring. It was boring as hell. But to look closely the guy was quite good looking, even when he was wet. His blond hair and tanned skin reminded me of a surfer.

"Ah it won't stop anytime soon." He finally stopped talking about seasons and looked up to see the dark sky that was still full with clouds. 

"I think I will go now. See you later then?" He smiled at me. 

"What? It's still raining heavily?" The guy was insane. Well, not really, I was bored at waiting there too. 

"Yeah. Wanna run together?" He asked, still flashing his bright smile at me. I didn't know why but the sight made me feel strange, more like, uneasy. 

I refused his offer because I didn't want to get soaked wet. He laughed again, waved his hands saying goodbye to me then he left the roof we were standing together. 

It suddenly felt lonely. I usually stay alone. I don't really like to be with people, it's troublesome. I myself realize I am a complicated man and instead of searching for a friend who I feel comfortable to be with, I rather be alone. That's why loneliness is what I'm not familiar with. 

And somehow that guy made me know how it is to feel lonely.
