They were in love. Married but not in the societal sense of tradition and legal documentation but in thought and heart they were. Married. Partners of life. Each the better half of the other.

Grocery shopping while holding hands, washing the car but actually playing with the hosepipe, going to movies but coming out with swollen lips and no clue as to what the movie was about, cooking together, making household decisions together.

They were in love.

And living together strengthened that. Proposing (even though they couldn’t really go through with it) made it seem real. Whispering ‘I do’ over wine sealed it in stone.

Or so Hyukjae thought.

Kyuhyun and Hyukjae were married in all ways except the right one.

And Hyukjae realized it the day Kyuhyun’s wife turned up on his doorstep.
