Conflicton

Description

Kim Jongin is smart, handsome, loved boy; basically, everyone's dream. Life had come easy to him. He wasn't poor, had copious amounts of friends, and his life was all planned out accordingly. Almost every student, straight or not, absolutely adored Jongin, resulting in a constant flow of confessions. Jongin did nothing to persue them, always kindly letting them down. No one caught his interest.

That is until a boy no older than Jongin had appeared late at night.

Jongin found himself feeling the need to get closer to this boy, but was always turned away coldly. Determined, he rarely left Kyungsoo's side, not even realizing he was pushing everything else away. His future, his friends, even his family. All for Do Kyungsoo.

Foreword

"What's your name?" Jongin asked with a small smile. He watched as the doe eyed male shifted his weight from one foot to the other, never once glancing at him.

"Why does it matter?" the smaller challenged. Jongin was confused at the cold tone of voice the other was giving him. He stood there, mouth agape, staring at the teen lazily leaning on the wall with his hands in his hoodie. Eyebrows furrowed together, he watched as the other spit his gum on the floor, sweeping dirt over it as if to hide the pink, sticky wad.

"Is it wrong to want to no your name?" Jongin muttered, loud enough for only the other to hear.

He heard a scoff, as their gazes met each other. Jongin ignored how he felt like the world stopped as beautiful, brown doe eyes looked into his, too engrosed with the fact that for the first time in his life, someone was being stubborn, cold, and rude to him. All he wanted to do was to meet the mystery boy, and the other treated him as if he was stupid. "Yes. I'm not interested in talking to you. I've got other problems to deal with, and I won't have you coming into my life and possibly ing up everything." the other practically hissed, slightly shaking with anger that Jongin had no idea how it came. No one had treated him this way, and he didn't know how to feel. Part of him was scared at how much anger could be compacted into such a small being. Another was confused at how Jongin was irratating the other. More so, he was angry the other was being so stubborn and rude when Jongin did nothing wrong.

Jongin clenched his fist in distaste as the other turned in the opposite direction and slowly began to walk away. Jongin was going to follow the other, but the latter stopped in his track, slightly turning his head to peer over his shoulder. "One more thing," he began, smirking at Jongin's confused, shocked, and grim expression. "Don't get involved with me."

And just like that, he was out of sight.
