Held for Questioning 

The usual JUNG SOOYEON  way, she decided to bug her best friend Tiffany and told her sappy stories about her number one crush/ one true love, Kwon Yuri. She can’t help but to tell her stories in a broadway style as she does those comical moves, expressions and gestures, but Tiffany remains on her seat dumbfounded and her mind is beyond the parallel universe called Kim Taeyeon.

“So, Yuri and I went to watch a movie last night! Gosh, I’m so happy!”

“Yeah?”

Tiffany’s stares remains blank and she would sigh every minute and Jessica seemed to noticed it and be bothered about it, “You look stupid.” Jessica commented

“Yeah?”

Jessica smirked in amusement and tested the latter furthermore, “Pink is ugly!” 

“Uh-huh.” Tiffany absent mindedly nodded.

“You like Kim Taeyeon!” Jessica teased as she knows that Tiffany has bad blood with her chauffeur, she also knows that Tiffany just hired Taeyeon so Kwon Yuri will be working at the city for Jessica as her personal assistant.

So, Tiffany’s next reply shocked Jessica Jung’s mind, “YES!”

“WHAT?” Jessica gasped and pointed at Tiffany with eyes filled with accusation, “YOU LIKE KIM?!”

That’s when Tiffany’s parallel universe mind breaks and looks at Jessica, “I LIKE WHO?!”

 “Are you taking drugs?”

“No.”

“Did you drink?” Jessica sat beside Tiffany and pressed more questions.

Tiffany shook her head again.

“So, Are you okay Hwang Miyoung?”

“Jessica, how do you undo witchcraft?”

Jessica scoffed and shook her head in disbelief, “Now, I think you’re high.”

“Karma is a … this is what I get for not having second dates with guys who do not wear pink on the first date.”

“So, how does our dear Kim Taeyeon relate to karma?”

“I think Taeyeon cast a spell upon me. I can’t sleep, I can’t eat, my stomach feels funny and I can’t breathe when she’s always on my mind.” Tiffany complained

“Dear, that’s not a spell…” Jessica moved her head closer towards Tiffany to more, “THAT’S LOVE!”

Tiffany immediately stood up and glared at Jessica, “STOP TALKING NONSENSE! I HATE THAT MIDGET!”Then she stomped her way out of the room.

“What’s with her and her PMS?” Jessica shook her head and smiled as a bright idea came unto her, “If Tiffany likes Taeyeon, then all I have to do is push Tiffany towards midget so Yuri would be mine! GENIUS! Uhhhhh!” Then, she had her own dance party that night. Celebrating something that hasn't happened yet in advance.

Ever since that day, Tiffany would always look at Taeyeon intensely and that would make Taeyeon feel uncomfortable most of the time. Everytime Yuri would visit her, Tiffany would always treat her coldly and make her do A LOT of unnecessary things.

“It’s not like I took her first kiss.” Taeyeon thought

“Unnie, would you like to have lunch with me?” Yuri offered

“Oh, sure!” Taeyeon excitedly said and that’s when Tiffany perfectly gets into the scene, “KIM TAEYEON!”

“Y-Yeah?”

“I have an urgent meeting. Drive me there.” Tiffany monotonously said and made her way towards the parking lot.

“But…”

“It’s okay, unnie. I’ll just have lunch with Miss Jung.” Yuri smiled

“I’m sorry, I’ll make it up to you next time?” Taeyeon apologetically said

“See you! Take care!”

“You too.”

Taeyeon looked at Yuri’s retreating figure and Tiffany’s standing figure beside the car, “What’s with her?” she asked herself in wonder.

“I could’ve given this couple necklace to Yuri.” Taeyeon sighed as she looked at the lock and the key inside the small box.

“Why does she look sad?”

Yuri walked back towards Jessica’s office. The door was half opened so she peeked and she saw Jessica looking at her own reflection in the mirror. Jessica was sitting in front of it as she put her mascara on.

“Am I not pretty?” Jessica frowned at her own reflection, Yuri walked towards her back and spoke.

“You are the prettiest girl in the world.” she smiled sincerely and gave Jessica a thumbs up, Jessica saw Yuri’s reflection on the mirror and looked back to see her in person.

“Oh, you came back!” Jessica has a huge grin on her face.

“Does your offer to have lunch with me still stand?” Yuri asked

“How about Taeyeon?”

“She’s with Tiffany-unnie.”

‘Thank God for creating Tiffany Hwang!’ Jessica chanted her hallelujahs inside her head.

Jessica held Yuri’s hand and said, “Come with me, I know where the best food is for the best person like you.” 

“Cheezy!”

“But you like it.” Jessica unsurely asked and Yuri gave her a reassuring smile and answer.

“Of course, I like you.”

And that’s enough to make Jessica’s day perfect.
