They didn’t expect it to happen, they just suddenly met. They all had one common in their life, each feared something. One has the fear of pain, the second one is of love, the third one is of happiness, and the last one had the fear of darkness. How can they have survived in this world? Simple, they lived a solitude life, a town which the population of the people who lived there didn’t even reach a thousand but they barely knew each other until the four of them met at a local library. All had contradicting personalities but they somehow clicked.

Choi Jinri loves to read books; she has a lot of collection of it in her room.

Kang Seulgi works as a part-time librarian but that doesn’t mean she loves reading books.

“I am a coward but I don’t mind because I am doing this to protect myself. I am scared of everything that involves harm, pain. I don’t like it and I have no intention of wanting to feel it ever again.”

Kim Taehyung likes places that are quiet and what else is a quiet place, the library.

Cherophobia. Happiness.

“A happy face pisses me off but that doesn’t mean I haven’t wondered what it feels to be genuinely happy about something, I haven’t felt it for a long time, I used to own a happy face but not anymore.”

Lee Hongbin was just simply bored and decided to try the thing that he dislikes the most, visit the library.

Philophobia. Love. 

“When I see people on the streets holding hands and showing affectionate gestures, all I can feel is jealousy. I can easily say the word love but I don’t think I have felt it, not even in my parents since I am an orphan, not even in my so-called friends.”
