“oppa, here you tea”
“and of course with added sweetness” hye ryeong said as she put her tray down on his table, yoon was changing his clothes behind the folding screen, hye ryeong waited as she sat down near the table
“why did you want to drink tea at this time of the night oppa ? we already finished dinner a while ago” hye ryeong said since she didn’t quite understand why he asked her for tea
“I wanted to drink the tea you made , it’s been a while and I missed it” yoon said, he can sense the wide smile he was wearing as he said that, though he missed her tea, that is not the sole reason he decided to ask her to go and make tea at that time, he planned something, and that needs her away from their room for a few minutes. After he finally changed which he just started after hearing hye ryeongs voice at the door, he took the sheet of paper and came out from behind the screen.
“hye ryeong ah ?”
“yes oppa ?” she said as he called her
“saranghae”
“I couldn’t tell you properly , saranghae hye ryeong ah” his actions all the past few days did show hye ryeong that he dearly loved her, so much that he was beside her every minute she opened her eyes, every time she gained conscious he was there holding her hand beside her. She herself was surprised she lived, thanks to kim sung yeol she lived, and having this beautiful and happy life of having yoon beside her making her remember the conversation she had with sung yeol a few days ago
 “how did we survive ?” that was the first question she asked kim sung yeol as she was all better a few days ago, she has lost so much blood that it took time for her to recover, she learnt that the guardian vampires blood has healing powers and kim sung yeol used that to save her.
“but how were you saved ?” she asked him
“it is your blood hye ryeong ah ”sung yeol said with a smile
“what?” hye ryeong asked confused
“it is your blood, I stabbed myself with the knife stained in your blood, you are her reincarnation” sung yeol paused and said “myeong hee’s, that is the only explanation for my survival and being back to human”
“your blood is something that made me a vampire, and I guess it is what that made me back to a human too” sung yeol understood that now, he was glad that he is now a human, and on top of that
“I am even able to enjoy delicious food” he said with a grin, it has been a hundred years since he lived on blood and being back to actually human tasty food satisfied his hunger a lot and yang sun was a great cook, she cooked him delicious food every day. Hye ryeong smiled at that, it didn’t matter what the reason was anymore, though she was confused, all that mattered is they survived that day, minutes later she was got in contact with sung yeol’s blood she moved a little from what she heard, and also even after minutes of exposure to sunlight, nothing happened to kim sung yeol and they both were rushed in for treatment.

“you can’t be lost in thought when I am confessing here” yoon said with a pout as he shook her by her shoulder making her come back, she could only laugh at his pout, but there is more than that laugh,
yoon was finally able to see the peaceful expression she always had only when she was asleep, he gave her the drawing and  moved closer to her and cupped her face with his hands and looked at her. she was touched emotionally, it was first time someone cared for her so dearly and that someone was none other than her lee oppa, her husband, and at this moment he was looking at her so lovingly as he cupped her face, she can feel her cheeks burning, she is melting hard and forgot to open the drawing in her hand, yoon smiled at the dazed expression she has and signaled her to open that, blushing again, she opened the drawing, her drawing she saw when it was half completed was complete now,
“when did you complete this oppa ?” she asked, she was happy and it was drawn so good, how can he find time for taking care of me, ruling the kingdom and also doing this ? hye ryeong was obviously happy as those thoughts crossed her mind
“you will always have time from me” yoon said as if reading her mind, he decided he will now live life without any regrets and the most important thing on that list is loving hye ryeong
“saranghae lee hye ryeong” he said, it was also the most meaningful thing hye ryeong listened in a while, she was so happy that tears started falling
“but don’t ever leave me, arasso ? whatever may happen, you and I stick to gether” yoon also warned her, he can’t lose her, ever again so that she won’t make any such decisions like she did then. Hye ryeong placed the drawing aside and cupped her hands on his face, now it was yoon’s turn to blush at her touch, moving closer hye ryeong said with a deep meaningful tone
“saranghae oppa” and pressed her lips on his, though yoon was a little late in grasping for a second, he took in pulled her closer for a better kiss, his hands now holding her slender waist and her hands resting on his shoulders until they both gave up due to lack of air, with their faces crimson red.
“yah, how can you initiate a kiss ? what will people think if they know that the king can’t even initiate a kiss with his wife ?” yoon said with a pout complaining on how she started that, not a complain though because he definitely enjoyed that. With an evil grin hye ryeong replied
“pabo king” she teased as she ran out of the room
“yah I am not a pabo king” yoon ran after her, that night they both ran all around the palace and played as if they were kids, enjoying every moment with one another until they fell asleep in the palace garden watching over the stars and making the palace workers wonder the next morning and talk about how the king and queen slept out in the garden.
