a/n note: I am going to cut short the fight, I think I am okay with writing emotions, but action scenes I and don’t even know how I can portray them, the visuals in my head may not come out exactly like that, bare with me.
 

“where is the queen ?” that was the first words, question that yoon asked  ho jin as he approached the battle place where everyone is supposed to arrive, sung yeol and also gwi.
“majesty, the queen is talking with yang sun” and explained that they are at the other side, she is talking with yang sun is what that sounded most important for him, without further listening to ho jin, yoon started to move across the grave land to reach the otherside walking behind the bushes and trees.  He was about 20 meters away from hye ryeong and yang sun, he can see their figures at a distance when one of his men stopped him as he called
“majesty ?” hearing that yoon turned around to see that it was the same guard he ordered to get information on hye ryeong’s mother.
“got any information ?” yoon asked,
“there were only two tickets taken for the ship majesty, and they are the maid and the queen’s ommonim”  the guard said, yoon nodded, this means that hye ryeong is definitely not leaving, what is she planning to do if she is not staying with him or either with her mother thinking he looked in her direction.

oblivious to yoon’s approach towards her direction or him staring at her from a distance hye ryeong is in a deep talk, somehow she has to relay the message to yang sun that yoon is still in love with her, without her being suspicious of sung yeol’s death, she has be trying to make a few words in her mind but nothing seemed appropriate, hye ryeong was thinking hard, luck was on her side since yang sun decided to ask hye ryeong about yoon, from what yang sun knows,  it is the royal that is needed to be sacrificed, she only has her information on that part of the plan,
“how did the king react to the plan her majesty ?” yang sun asked,  hye ryeong knew the king didn’t even know some of the happenings that are going to happen , she was thinking for a reply when soo hyang came in since she got the news that sung yeol has already visited the underground palace, and the sun is setting now.


With the speed they have, throwing punches at one another gwi and sung yeol moved from the underground palace to the forest. Sung yeol immediately initiated the fight with gwi as soon as he reached the underground palace, gwi has to be taken down at all costs he thought. Gwi was a little surprised by the sudden attack but reacted immediately and attacked sung yeol back. Sung yeol is losing his power, gwi is stronger than him and he is definitely losing his power,
“do you think you can defeat me with all these injuries ?” gwi mocked sung yeol but he coul barely talk back,  sung yeol tried to hit gwi again and he failed, grabbing hold of his hand, gwi threw sung yeol onto a tree, hitting hard on his back, sung yeol fell down, this happened a few meters from where yang sun and hye ryeong were. Yang sun immediately hurried towards sung yeol calling him
“sunbae-nim, are you fine ?”
“please wake up”yang sun cried, gwi only hissed at the sight but also his eyes fell on hye ryeong who worriedly was about to take steps in sung yeols direction but was stopped by gwi
“changing the sides too fast ?” gwi said angrily to hye ryeong, furious he was, first sung yeol fighting him and now he sees his slave hye ryeong on sung yeol’s side, she deserves to be punished gwi thought, using his speed he blocked hye ryeong’s way and grabbed her by and lifting her up from the ground, struggling for breath, she tried to loosen his grip on her. Yoon who was watching them over from a distance was startled by the sudden happenings, gwi throwing sung yeol and advancing towards hye ryeong, he ran towards them immediately
“leave the queen now” he ordered gwi
“should I? why ?” gwi said to yoon and tilting his head to hye ryeong he said “should I leave you queen ?” from what hye ryeong can hear , it is not just said, it is a threat, if he leaves her, then gwi will go for yoon, she knew gwi that much to read behind his lines,
“oppah, please leave” hye ryeong pleaded yoon to leave , concern filled her eyes, which didn’t go unnoticed by gwi
“oppa huh ?” gwi said as he shook his head and said “having someone to protect huh ? looks like she is in love with you majesty ? what should I do with her huh ?” now it is a threat for yoon to kill hye ryeong, pulling his sword out yoon went on to gwi but gwi escaped  as he threw hye ryeong down, she coughed hard trying to regain her breath, yoon ran to her and kneeling he asked
“are you fine hye ryeong ah?”gaining her breath she nodded to yoon. All this happenings gave yang sun time to give her blood to sung yeol, a few seconds after receiving her blood, sung yeol opened his eyes again, color changed, blue eyes, burning with flame, yang sun can say she feared that look for a second. Yoon who was beside hye ryeong didn’t notice the sword he put down on ground being taken, taken by gwi, pointing the sword to yoon’s neck, a very threatening visual for hye ryeong , gwi said
“should I kill him with just a strike ?” she hurried herself as she carried herself to gwi, and pleaded by bending ahead of him
“please don’t” holding her hands before him, kim sung yeol, please arrive, that was her only thought, he is the only one who can save yoon, her prayers were answered when a furious sung yeol grabbed gwi high and threw him hard onto a branch of a tree, so hard that the branch broke and fell down along with gwi onto the ground. The next minute he plunged onto gwi, gwi was definitely in pain now, and the vibe sung yeol was giving is different and he could identify that
“what just happened?” gwi commented surprised, how can sung yeol become that powerful ?
“you will understand” saying that sung yeol glanced once towards hye ryeong, it was her cue to be ready, and glanced once at yang sun, he couldn’t control the after effects that will happen in a few minutes, all he can do now is wish for her happiness, determined he took steps towards gwi, for his blood. Hye ryeong looked at yoon, love filled her eyes,
“please take care of yourself oppa” she said, yoon couldn’t understand what she meant by that, he was clearly confused,  she pecked him on his cheek, a small peck which didn’t even last a second, she originally didn’t want to do that, it would just make it difficult for him to lose her but curse her heart for that, she can’t help but peck him even though it was on cheek. This only added more to his confusion, the previous night she rejected him, she lied about going away from him, now she kissed him out of blue ? he extended his hand trying to grab hers, but she was fast or determined to be fast even though she was hurt earlier.
sung yeol pushed gwi’s body with force after biting him. gwi was weakened, catching his neck he turned in pain
“you are going to pay for this ” he said in anger and tried to use his powers to move fast, but couldn’t, his expression changed, gwi was rather shocked at what happened to his power
“what did you do to me ?” he asked sung yeol in frustration
“this is your end” it was hye ryeong who said that, as she removed the hidden silver knife, which she hid under her cloak, fear crept gwi and it can be obviously understood, she took the knife, raising her hand above she moved it fast and stabbed herself and pulled the knife out and threw it to sung yeol, grabbing the knife wet with hye ryeong’s blood, sung yeol stabbed gwi, letting out a scream gwi collapsed
“put his body in the wooden box” soo hyang ordered the guards who immediately followed her orders and did so, she asked them to follow her with that so that they can burn him. on the other hand hye ryeong collapsed from the loss of blood she had,
“hye ryeong ah” yoon ran towards her, what she just did didn’t make any sense to him, yang sun also hurried towards them
“what did you just do ?” he asked hye ryeong, but she has no energy to reply, she was losing her conscious and she closed her eyes. He tried to press hard on her stomach where she stabbed herself trying to stop the blood by pressing hard, but no use, blood was still oozing out.
“sunbae, you didn’t know ?” yang sun asked, she didn’t understand his shock, she expected him to be sad but not shocked.
“know what ?”
“gwi can be killed with a royals blood” it made sense to him now, all her actions, no his mind screamed but no sound escaped his mouth, the sun was rising, sun rays were approaching them slowly, yang sun and yoon’s attention was caught by a louder thud, kim sung yeol who fell on to the ground. Sung yeol was losing his strength, he is able to sense himself losing his power, but there is one thing he has to do,
“sunbae nim what is happening to you ?” it was oblivious to yang sun that sung yeol being the guardian vampire will die after gwi’s death, sung yeol tried to force a smile to yang sun, a bleak smile as he came forward to where hye ryeong lay, his hand shivered and the knife fell down on hye ryeong’s blood, and also sung yeol onto his knees,
“sunbae nim, what is happening to you ? the black cloak why isn’t it working ??” yang sun said with concern as she kneeled beside sung yeol
“I am sorry yang sun ah” sung yeol said, it all made sense now to yoon now, how he didn’t know about hye ryeongs sacrifice and how yang sun didn’t know sung yeol will be dying. They both plot this.
“why did you do this ? why did you both hide this ?” yoon asked in pain as sung yeol grabbed the knife filled with hye ryeong’s blood once again, again making sung yeol to stop
“it is for the best of you both” sung yeol said with a weak voice
“what could be best for us without her and you kim sung yeol ?” yoon asked angrily at the reply he got from sung yeol, yang sun stared at them tears flowing her eyes. Sung yeol tried to force a smile, he was losing energy and his time is getting over, he need to do this.  He can’t let her die, for the second time in his name, he would be too selfish if made that happen, he could at least make her live a life even if she decided to go out of yoon and yang sun’s way, whom he doubt, both of them will ever come together after their death, but a possibility and hope that can make them rest in peace and ensure a little happiness in their life, hye ryeong or myeong hee is equally important now for him, he need to be fair and save her. Save hye ryeong, don’t die before that. He was mentally screaming or telling himself trying to stay awake for a few more minutes. Yoon and yang sun were saying something, anger, concern, tears, but a life mattered, he didn’t want to commit the same sin twice. Determined, sung yeol stabbed himself with the knife and growled in pain as he removed it out, his blood covered the knife now, and placed himself so that wound so that his blood oozing out comes in contact with hye ryeong’s wound, but he was shaking, yang sun understood what he was trying to do since that is how he healed her wound once, she immediately supported sung yeol by grabbing his shoulders. But to sung yeol, something was happening beyond the sun and his death he couldn’t adhere and neither has the strength to do. He could only hold his conscious till he could see his blood dripping onto hye ryeongs wound, after that he fell unconscious and fell side wards, yang sun couldn’t hold the grip and she too fell down onto the ground.
“sunbae-nim” yang sun uttered a soft groan and cried there, for now she lost everyone,
“please don’t die sunbae-nim” she said crying
what did sung yeol try to do  ? yoon couldn’t understand but his eyes were fixed on hye ryeong who lay on the ground. She died for me. She died for me. His mind screamed it loud. He couldn’t hold in anymore, he cried at her figure, she died for me, you don’t deserve people in your life, they all die to protect you.
“what have I done to you that made you die in my place ?”he sobbed at hye ryeong. That is when soo hyang came back after setting gwi’s body to fire, hye ryeong and sung yeol lay next to each other without any movement and yang sun and yoon were there crying and speaking words in grief,
“they both loved you more than their life” she could at least tell that, something to assure them, she knew nothing could console them, she herself lost her scholar, someone very dear for her, someone without whom she wouldn’t have been here now and the queen whom she respected. None of them could reply, yoon or yang sun, tears flowed their eyes continuously.

umm there is a request, please comment on how I wrote the action sequence, I know it may not be good and there may not be any more action sequences in this story but your feedback, helps me improve myself. May be I can write better in future if ever i have to include one.
