Curled up in a ball, hugging your knees to your chest and quietly snoring away, Mark couldn't help but be captivated. Your hair sticking out in all directions but still soft to touch, your eyebrows slightly creased and he wondered what you were thinking about it, your eyes closed peacefully and your lips slightly parted as you breathed, in and out.

Mark quietly ripped a piece of paper from your notebook and scribbled on it with his tongue sticking out cutely from the corner of his mouth. He passed it to you with a smile but his face fell as you continued to type on your laptop instead of looking at his note.

"Babe, how about this one?" Mark held up a 4th outfit curiously and she chuckled happily "Mark, you're suppose to be buying Yerin an outfit not me!" He pouted and placed the outfit back on the rack. "But it's weird buying an outfit for another girl who isn't my girlfriend......"

He coughed "Actually...I was planning...to...you know....ask you out....after this week's bake sale......" You laid your head on the back of the couch, too tired to process his words and he quickly grabbed your hand in his and you sat back up slowly. "Don't fall asleep!"

At the age of 10 Mark Tuan was living off the streets after his mother passed away from cancer and his father was shot to death over a gambling debt. Right in front of his eyes. The sight of blood splatter and the shrill scream of a 10 year old boy forever etched into his memory.

"Be friends with you? Mark Tuan, you are the LAST person I'd want to be friends with.ever." she said coldy and stormed away and she could hear Mark chuckle in amusement as he closed his locker door.

"Did you ever care?" you glared at Mark as he picked himself up off the ground while Jackson held you behind him protectively. Mark said nothing.

Mark couldn't look you in the eye as you held the ice pack against his bruised swollen face and the silence was eating you alive. You haven't spoken since that day at the park and then suddenly all this happens. You were about to yell, you deserved to yell at him but instead you sighed and chuckled half heartedly "Why bother...."

"BUT I LOVED YOU FIRST!!" he yelled as he desperately grabbed onto your shoulders. The first time Mark's ever yelled at you. His voice was hoarse from crying and his eyes blood shot from tears and alcohol.
